Great, chilled out hostel! As a solo traveller it is easy to meet people here and there is a nice rooftop area. The rooms are clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Yash who is going to make an awesome full time member of staff! Thanks for a great stay guys :)

The staff were really friendly and helpful here and it is a smaller hostel so it is easy to meet people. There were certainly a couple of interesting characters. The hostel is a decent walk from the bus station (20 to 30 minutes) so if you have lots of luggage catch the 8B or 8C bus from outside the station. It goes straight to the street where the hostel is :)

Quite expensive to stay here and they charge you per day if you want to use a locker too (there are none in the rooms). There is a nice communal area though and the cleaning staff work hard to keep things clean and tidy. It's a very busy place.

Although the owner speaks no English (and I unfortunately don't speak Spanish) he is very sweet an did his best to make me feel at home! I was only in this hostel for one night but the rooms are nice and spacious and had a 'staying at your grandparents' house feel. There weren't many people staying here though so maybe not the best place for a solo traveller to meet others.

There are many hostels that are nice but forgettable and then there are a select few which you have such good experiences at, that you'll never forget! This is one of those few. The facilities aren't perfect (hooks on the back of the shower doors would be useful) but the staff are amazing and the moment you arrive you feel at home. It is a great place to make new friends and it is easy to see why pretty much everyone ends up extending their stay. I look forward to returning one day soon!

Great location near Kings Cross. Overall there's nothing to complain about but nothing to really rave about either. It's a fine base for a few nights. Keep in mind that this place has a lot of narrow stairs so it is a bit awkward if you have a lot of heavy luggage.

This is more a hotel than a hostel in the fact that there are no communal areas and for a shared dorm it is pricey. I really enjoyed my time at this hostel and would stay here again. The pool and bar area is a great place to hang out and meet people and the welcome drink on arrival is a nice touch! The dorms are very big and do not have bathrooms but there are power outlets in each of the lockers and the bar closes at 11pm, which means you can either get some sleep or you can either go into town and party.

I only stayed here one night but that was long enough. It seemed more like a place people come and stay long term than a hostel, it was a bit strange. There was not a lot of atmosphere and there was only wifi in the cafe and on the top floor of the building. On the plus side, the rooms were quite spacious and the soap, cup and towel on your bed when you arrive is a nice touch.

Had a great stay here. There are good nightly events and communal areas to meet people if you are travelling solo - the limo night is great! Would be nice if there were a couple more bathrooms, 1 shower in a 10 bed dorm isn't much.

If it is a party you are after then this is a good place to stay! As a solo traveller it was easy to meet people at The Yellow and there was good, cheap food and drink available from the bar. The rooms were decent however there was no air conditioning so it was far too hot and extremely difficult to sleep at night!

View Property Reply

Glad to here you enjoyed your stay and found the other guests to be friendly. Yes we are a party hostel and we certainly pride ourselves on our reputation. I do apologize that the heat was uncomfortable. Unfortunately due to the hot Roman summers the rooms do get quite warm. We do offer air conditioning in our private and ensuite rooms as stated on our website and I would recommend you book one of them on your next visit. Thank you for comments, we hope to see you again in the future!
