Located just off the main street, easy to walk anywhere in town in about half an hour (one way to the bus station, the other way to the Alhambra). Dorm has a small en suite and lockers for each person.
Great little pansiyon. You get yourself a private room with an ensuite for the same price you would get a hostel dorm bed for. Located in easy walking distance to the beach, as well as the bus station for day trips. Breakfast was great, and the owner was so friendly and wanted to help whenever she could! Thanks :)
Not really a hostel, more of a cheap hotel. No lockers in the room, couldn't use the kitchen. There was a table tennis table, but it wasn't free. Atmosphere wasn't there- it was pretty much just a big budget hotel.
Only hostel located in the Old Town- walking distance to all the beautiful places in Dubrovnik. Rooms were very small and nothing special. Staff were helpful. I can imagine that it would get pretty crazy at the height of summer.
Probably not "the best hostel in the world", but still very good. Great value for money. Bracelet keys to open the rooms are a bit annoying. Great showers and breakfast! The communal dinner each night is a good idea, but it is hard to cook for yourself while it's going on.
Not that well located in TLV, the dorm room didn't have a lock, nor any lockers. Only stayed for one night, so it is hard to get a complete picture, but I probably wouldn't book with them again. I guess there's a reason they are the cheapest.
Great hostel/pub in the centre of London- located right next to Paddington tube station, which has lines directly connecting to most places in town. The downside to this, is that the road was quite busy, so some people may find it hard to sleep if they are sensitive to noise. The breakfast was an amazing inclusion, as well as the vouchers for discounts on food at the pub downstairs. Staff were very helpful and the facilities were fine (bed was what you'd expect from a hostel).
A really nice hostel with great facilities. The shower was amazing, and the kitchen had really good cooking facilities. There's a pool table and a lot of room for chilling out. The beds were not super-comfortable, but what you would expect from a hostel. Really friendly staff, and the desk downstairs was always manned.
Not a bad hostel- located within walking distance of the centre of town. Everything was what you would expect from a hostel in England. Rooms were a bit small, but the kitchen was well equipped, and the atmosphere was good; with a bar and everything. It looked as though there were activities planned most nights to meet people if you were staying for a bit longer.
I stayed here despite the not-so-good reviews in the past. I wasn't expecting much, so I guess I got what I expected. It's in a convenient location to catch the train to Kansai Airport, but unless you plan on that, I wouldn't stay here. It was fine for a one night stay before heading to the airport the next morning. Just beware that the staff don't speak English, and you'll have to check out by 9am!

Thank-you very much to the staff at Akari Hostel, Nagasaki! I had a wonderful experience- they have everything as hostel should, plus so many extra reccomendations for day trips etc. They even organise for you to go on a walk with a local, who can guide you around to places you might not normally get to see! Really enjoyed my 3 nights here, thanks guys!
I booked a private room, and only needed a place to sleep for a few hours before a flight the next day. Served its purpose well, very good value. Not sure how the atmosphere is because I checked in at about 1:30AM and out at 6:30AM. I would definitely say it rates better than most Chinese budget hotels.
