I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. The room was clean and comfortable, there were laptops where guests could access Internet free of charge as well as lockers for valuable items and a luggage deposit. It is located within walking distance of the main attractions and it has a very nice and relaxing terrace where one can appreciate the view while having a cocktail. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Hostel California Vaci Street

We had a few issues during our stay, namely loud noise, dirty bedsheets, lack of variety of breakfast and a bed that basically cracked in the middle. However, most of the problems were solved by the helpful staff who moved us to a larger, quieter room and re-assembled another bed (which was even bigger). There was definitely a friendly atmosphere, especially for those traveling with children, namely by providing entertainment options such as videogames or movies. The location is also excellent!

Cliff Hotel

The hostel is quite conveniently located in downtown, close to the main sightseeing spots. It is within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Perhaps on account of it being the low season, there were not too many travelers around, however, I did meet a few. The room was cold and damp and there was a lot of noise coming from the adjacent side street, especially at night. However, the balance/cost ratio makes me believe that the price was reasonable, considering the facilities.

Overall I was pleasantly satisfied with my room. My main concern was the lack of hot water in the shower. Excellent location within walking distance of the central train station. Staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly, but rather helpful enough. The room was kept tidy and clean.

Old Prague Hostel

The hostel was conveniently located close to the Old Town square, it was kept clean and tidy. There were 4 computers with Internet access as well as free wifi and free breakfast. The lounge is quite small, but at the same time, it feels cozy. The street gets quite busy in the morning, so you might find yourself waking up sooner than expected and there is no air conditioning in the rooms, so at times it feels like you're in a sauna. Overall, the experience was quite positive.

Hostal Yolanda

The hostel is quite close to the city centre and the building where it is located is very nice. The facilities are clean and there are travel guides at the disposal of the tourists. However, we were placed in a room where there was smoke coming out of the fireplace (albeit it being sealed), but we were 'relocated' without any hassle. The negative aspect is that the walls are quite thin, so you can hear pretty much everything. Overall, considering the cost/benefit balance, it paid off!
