Riad Hotel Espagne

Marrakech, Morocco

This hotel is great if you only need a place to sleep. Remember to bring your own towel and toilet paper. We had a double room with bathroom which was clean but quite worn out. The shower was lousy and made the whole bathroom wet. Wifi works in room. The main door to the hotel is locked, so you have to knock and wait a while to get in. The staff isn't always around and actually we didn't see the staff much. This is a okay and cheap hotel but we wouldn't recommend it.

Green Milk Hostel

Essaouira, Morocco

Green Milk Hostel is a very special place. Either you love it or you don't. The hostel has a very social vibe and feels like a commune - so don't expect privacy. The people here are very kind and friendly. We had the double room without light and locking next to the common area. Not so great. And the shared toilet and bathroom could have been more clean. The hostel has a great location but it is very difficult to find. Even though Green Milk isn't our taste it was a funny experience.

Hotel Atlas Marrakech

Bring your own towel and toilet paper for rooms with shared bathroom. We had a double room with sink which was nice and clean. The shared toilet and bathroom could have been more clean but it was OK. The staff was very helpful and kind. Nice breakfast at the rooftop terrace for only 25 dh. Hotel Atlas is close to the square but can be a bit difficult to find at first hand. The hotel is quite noisy because of its location and talking in the common area. We will recommend Hotel Atlas!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel twice and I would recommend this place to other couples. The atmosphere and staff feels quite cold, but the area and bar on the 6th floor compensates for this. It has a more hostel like vibe with big couches and pool table - and a great view to the forbidden city. The room was clean but personally I think the toilet was a bit dirty.

Hanoi Hostel on Hang Vai

Hanoi, Vietnam

This is definetly great value for money. It has a central location - you can reach everything on foot or with xe om. The staff is really helpfull and caring, especially Candy and the funny girl. My boyfriend was sick and several times they asked if he was doing any better. We were only two persons but had a room with space for three, it was clean and had frigde. And there is breakfast included, though it is not that good but okay.

Sunflower Hotel Hoi An

Hoi An, Vietnam
77%

This is a great hotel with good facilities, but it caters mostly to families and couples. The hotel is placed a bit outside the central part of Hoi An - they offer a bus every half an hour or you can get there by foot in 10-15 minutes. Or even better rent a bike - you can reach the city easily and get to the beach in 10-15 minutes. The breakfast buffet is good and has both asian and more western dishes. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had a deluxe room with a very small balcony.

Happy House Hotel

Nha Trang, Vietnam

This is a okay hotel and it has a great location but lack of atmosphere. We had a clean and small room with a small window. The staff in the day time are friendly, though they allways tries to get you to buy some kind of diving or boat tour. In the night time there is a man at the desk who does not speak english. We saw him leave the reception for longer periods of time - and our passports was stored here... Go to the restaurant Veranda near by - really good, clean and cheap!

We stayed at this hostel on our way to Vietnam. It has a bad location, there is nothing to do in the neighbourhood - but it is really close to the bus station! The hostel has nice common areas with couches and it feels like a college dormitory. The staff is really helpfull and nice, and they offer simple dishes (sandwiches, salat, fried rice). Our room was very small and had a small bathroom - we used the shared showers, because they were big, really clean and nice. Our room smelled a bit moldy.

West Lily Hotel

Yangshuo, China

This is probably the best (and cheapest) place we have stayed at in our trip in China, but it caters mostly to couples. The chinese couple who runs this place speaks great english and welcomes you warmly - they are always smiling and asking how you are. The rooms are light and clean, the toilet is a bit small but okay. We would definetly recommend this place - it is really great value for money!
