Our door to our room didn't close properly so during the night we had drunk people wondering in thinking it was there room and going through our stuff. There was no lockers to put our stuff in out of reach of other people. The kitchen had 3 stove tops and 3 ovens only 2 oven worked and about 6 hotplates out of 12 thought about being warm. The common area was tiny during the day so that only about 6 people could sit there and at night the cafe opened so there was more space. I
The Kitchen was big but only 2 hotplates worked out of 8. The staff didn't have any maps of the city to give you. But they did have one of the local area pointing out all the things you need like laundry and supermarket. Beds not that comfy and noisy. Close to the Duomo which is good. Showers were not the best. For the price in Milan it was over all good.
The staff at the front desk were very rude to us when checking in. They didn't put a yellow wrist band so we could drink in the bar after 11.30pm. Some of the staff were not very friendly and didn't really want to answer our questions. Some of the other staff were lovely. There is no common room only the bar with over priced drink for a hostel. The food is expensive and not very good. The rooms are clean and have great cages/lockers for your stuff.
This Hostel was awesome! Harriet and Luca were very knowledgeble of Naples. The map Luca draws for you when you first arrived is the best map i have ever had. They made us love Naples for Naples. The other guest were very friendly and kept extending their stays because they liked it so much. The only bad things were that in our level bathroom was no soap holder in the shower and we didn't get 2 keys for our room. If that is the worst thing you can say about a Hostel you are doing very well.
