We stayed in an eight bed dorm and it was really spacious and spotlessly clean. Lights and sockets by the beds are great. The Naschmarkt is a great location, you can walk into town, and the hostel's right near the metro.

Fantastic location near the night market. Good wifi. 16 bed dorm was spacious and the air con worked well. Yes the bathrooms are a little smelly but they're very clean. Airport taxi service is overpriced, just grab a tuk tuk from down the road.

Very decent hostel a short walk from everywhere you'd want to get to in town. Quiet at night so no trouble sleeping but sociable in the day, easy to find people to share tuk tuks to waterfalls. Breakfast is simple and arrives quickly. The staff gave me information without trying to push or sell anything. Keys for the dorms would have been nice, it wasn't possible to luck the rooms but at least the night security was good. I'd definitely recommend this hostel.

Great to have a buffet breakfast included! The wifi was good, the air con in my dorm was pretty weak. The staff were friendly and provided great free maps. Make sure they deduct your 10% though. Bicycle rental was $3/day which seemed a bit steep (cycling to the tombs in May heat was not the best idea but pagodas were fine). Plenty of other travellers there but not a party hostel so no trouble sleeping. It's a bit of a walk from the imperial city but the area is well served in all other respects.

It's basic but comfortable enough and a very short work from the old quarter. The air con was good, the wifi was alright. The staff were friendly, a little pushy but that's Viet Nam. It was fairly quiet when I was there and there's no real social area but I still met some friendly people. The main downside was that the bathroom didn't appear to get cleaned once in the four nights I stayed.

My 18 bed dorm was kind of split in two so it was better than I imagined. Beds were scarily high but comfortable and the dorm was quiet so I got a good night's sleep. Huge lockers, personal reading light and socket. Friendly atmosphere, it was easy to get chatting to people in the bar area and there were other quieter common areas too which was great. Good location, just the right distance from the madness of pub street.

The design of the dorms gives a feeling of privacy and it was great to have a power socket and reading light for each bed. Air con worked really well. Everything was clean, the showers were good and the beds were very comfortable. The common area was dominated a bit by whatever film was on the enormous TV but it was a good place to get talking to people.

The hostel had a really chilled, friendly atmosphere and the Wednesday quiz was so fun. The staff were brilliant, everyone was welcoming, chatty and helpful no matter what the time of day. The bathrooms were always clean and everything worked well but they were a bit basic and doing them up would make a big (if purely aesthetic) difference. They seemed to be full every night so book ahead!

I stayed in a six bed dorm and there were really thoughtful little touches like curtains around each bunk, a little shelf next to each bed with a power socket and reading light. The hostel is inside the OX tours office so I didn't see it easily from thestreet. Big kitchen, roof terrace and reasonable communal areas with ping pong table and TV room. Lots of information about activities. I was only there one night midweek and it was very quiet.

Not prefect but still one of my favourite hostels so far! Really great atmosphere with loads of common spaces and a lovely garden. Short walk from the bus station. Friendly staff and travellers. Beds were comfortable and fans were effective. Cheap bike rental, decent breakfast. Had a bit of trouble getting hot water in the outside showers but the one in the dorm was fine, though the walls could do with a new coat of paint. The wifi signal was a bit weak. Would happily stay here again!

Excellent hotel for the price and the location. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was also good by French standards! Great location close to metro stops with good bars and restaurants nearby (those uphill from the hotel are generally nicer and in a much safer area in the evenings). Slight concern about security as keys had to be left at the hotel when you went out, and weren't kept in the safest place but we didn't have a problem. Overall I would thoroughly recommend it to those on a budget :)
