There is construction in the basement, starting pretty early. No breakfast, and not a ton of common space. They have OK Wifi. Bulk beds were cheap and creaking a lot. I found worms in the shower, when reported, they only suggested to use another one..

Great building, nice facilities, tho it was really smelling like sewer in all bathroom, not very nice. Provided breakfast is good. The terrasse has a great view but is not accessible by night (and missing a bar?). Staff was very friendly but very uptight with rules. Bulk beds are pretty cheap, creaking and without any privacy curtain. Awesome views from rooms with bay view. Wifi is ok, weak with many users.

Wifi in the rooms was not great. Weekend price was pretty high. Terasse is amazing, tho closing too early. Closing rule in the patio is also pretty strict. Awesome location. Excellent bulk bed quality, with small curtains.

Private was bedroom was nice, shower could have been a bit better (broken tiles). Nice cute patio, nice staff, great playlist, great big kitchen.

Industrial backpacker, don't reinvest money to make it better. Mattresses are very old. Lots of coasters staying in the rooms all day long. Room was not clean, and showers were quite dirty, toilets were out-of-order. I had to look for other bathroom in the facility. Lockers are tiny so you can't secure your backpack overnight or during the day. $14 parking fees. No breakfast, no towel. Basement lounge and laundry felt pretty dirty.

The room I had (25) was not clean, and the bed was completely broken. Even at that price point I expect a non-broken bed. I got bitten there too, probably a spider. I bet they didn't vacum the room properly for a while. Bathroom was ok but is missing ventilation so condensed water don't drip all over your stuff after showering (it was a short shower!). Security is ok, tho most of the time, nobody is at reception. Strict rules in the kitchen and staff very short with guests about it..

Beds could be more steady. Kitchen is very big 👏. Staff was very friendly. Lounge is pretty cold tho, lack of cozyness. Club attached feels the same. Always loud music even if attendance is low. Sun deck is really cool, and location is perfect. Staff was very helpful with activities. Don't do the river jets. Skydiving is a good deal (probably same company/owner as hostel). Avoid room by the kitchen as the kitchen door is really loud and every morning at 4am people leave for the Tongariro hike.

Ok backpackers. Feels very industrial, not much atmosphere.
Thank you very much for your stay, Safe Travels!! Kind regards

Lots of character, the whole house looks like a boat. It also has a great view on the bay. It could be cleaner tho. The owners are nice, but a little short with guests. They also could recommend better deals than the ones from their friends in town.

People and staff were amazing! Building setup will definitively throw you off at first, but it's definitively charming, and the terrasse has very nice view on the neighborhood and the downtown skyline. Kitchen is gigantic and super practical, as are the showers. Bedding is basic. Don't miss the partying on Thursday night!

More like a Motel than an hostel. No lounge, and tile everywhere (which help with cleanness). Staff very friendly. Very well located. Greek restaurant attached pretty good.

Great place to stay at, so close to the interesting parts of the city. Bathroom and "deluxe" beds could be cleaner but overall, I had a really good stay.

Very typical house in the French quarter. Staff is just awesome! Specially Vanessa and jay! It's very clean and well organized. Breakfast could be better and beds are very shaky, but staff is the best so it's cool :D

Really good ambiance on the bar. Bathroom was bit dirty and not very clean. Beds in 9 room doesn't have a really good stability... But the price is low.
