super super super super super lovely hostel run by a super lovely couple!!!! soooooo genuinely touched by how they received us :") it's just a 5-minute walk to the pamukkale nature park lower entrance... and i do recommend starting from the lower entrance as a lot less people actually go to the bottom end, so you get to enjoy the place without loads of people around. unbeatable staff + location = definitely recommnended

easy 5-minute walk from the selcuk train station. many restaurants and a supermarket just outside the hostel. the staff was recommending a tour to ephesus, virgin mary house. the price was TL 100, which we thought too expensive but in fact it wasn't. we went ourselves in the end but would have gone for the tour if given the choice again. would recommend the place - and i recommend the "nur restaurant" outside as well. the guy is very very nice!

if you are not looking for privates, i would say the shared bathrooms are really among the worst i've been to. no shelves for toiletries; no hooks for towels; and the lights in the bathroom would switch off automatically after a while, which leave the place completely dark. as i made a complaint to the staff they moved us into a private room. it is much better. it is near taksim square metro station + kabatas tram station, quite a good location. would recommend for private rooms only

enjoyed my 4 nights here so much. beds and pillows are really comfortable that i genuinely feel recharged every day when i wake up. the place is not noisy as well. breakfast contents are help yourself ham, cheese, some greens and bread. it's alright given it's free. the free barbecues they do are not like you have to be social with other people... it's really just you can have a free meal served by the staff. staff are friendly and helpful. 10-20 minutes from centre. i would revisit.

location is a less-than-10 minutes walk from the metro. you have to switch at two stops away to the main lines. not the closest or easiest spot but not too bad. breakfast is available at €5 which i didn't try because there is a very nice and cheap bakery just around the corner. quite a lot of school groups during my stay, and kids are noisy... but sound-proof through the walls are fine. in short: average - may look for another place if i visit berlin again

didn't have much time in edinburgh so we took a bus from and a train to city, which was easy and inexpensive. stayed at a 10 bed mixed dorm ensuite: very clean room & toilet facilities. just be aware there are no shelves to properly put personal belongings away. stayed here on a friday night where there was a live band in the bar downstairs (it happens on fridays and saturdays), which was great. the rooms are well sound-proof so you don't have to worry about the noise from downstairs.
