The location is fantastic being just a walk to the Happo Gondola. It is also a short walk to the information centre where you can get other buses to other nearby mountains. The Ski hire shop is onsite and very reasonably priced with storage in the basement. Breakfast was great each morning with toast, cereal, pancakes etc. The showers are downstairs and somewhat communal. The only real complaint is having to pay to get a WiFi code which only works in certain parts of the hotel.
Loved this hostel. The location is fantastic, super close to everything you need while visiting Kyoto. Each bunk bed is like a capsule with a light, power point and hanger which can be made completely private with a closed curtain. The kitchen upstairs is big and well equipped if needed. Free tea and coffee all the time. The laundry room is well priced with free washing detergent. Staff are somewhat helpful, but there are flyers for sightseeing and eating which are very handy.
I really enjoyed my stay at Tani9. The staff are super helpful and very friendly. The location is great, being a short walk to the main tourist area of Osaka. But also far enough out to not be noisy. The kitchen is small, but very handy. The free tea and coffee is always nice in the morning. The dorm room is quite small, but each bed has a curtain so you have a bit of privacy and there is space for your luggage. All in all a great hostel!
The location is great, being super close to the port and otherwise a bike ride away to other beaches. The staff are great and super helpful. We rented a bike through the place next door which is joint to the hostel so got a great price and no hassles. There is no common room, but everyone goes to the bar across the road where you get drink discounts. We also borrowed some snorkel gear for the day at no extra cost which was sweet and given tips on where to go.

DO NOT stay at this so called resort!!!!!!! We actually left because we felt unsafe and the room was below any kind of standard even that of a low standard for Thailand. I have actually complained to Hostelworld about this property even being on their website.

Cheap and clean Guesthouse. You get what you pay for. Rooms divided by very thin material so you have to be super quiet and you can hear you neighbours. Bathroom not the greatest, but clean.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the common area was great and I made a lot of friends while staying here. The location is a bit out of the centre, but it is a great area. Walk into the centre is about 15 minutes and a beautiful walk too. There are 2 buildings and I stayed in both. I prefered being in the main building as it has the common area while the other building has only the dsorms etc.
Paddy's Palace is in a great location and it is super convenient if you are doing one of their many tours. The free airport shuttle is also great. The room was clean and quite big. The shower was not the best it being one of the push ones where you have no control over the temperature. The common room isn't really a very social space with people in there all on their phone or computer. But in saying that it is the perfect place to stay if you are on any of the PaddyWagon tours.
I only stayed for one night at Durty Nellys Inn, but I really enjoyed my stay. The girl at reception was lovely and very helpful. The hostel is super close to central station. The rooms are clean and seem quite new. Although a bit cramped with not much extra space for backpacks etc. No common area, but the pub downstairs is a pretty relaxed and they don't mind you just drinking a water down at the bar if you so please. The breakfast in the morning was also very good.
The Hostel was in a great location, walking distance from all major parts of the city. The rooms were nice and spacious. The shower was great, but there was no really anywhere to put your things. The kitchen was pretty basic, but still very convinent. The hostel had a nice common area and a good free breakfast.
I really enjoyed my stay at Abhostel and in Antwerp in general. The hostel is really homely and Greg was great giving me a tour of the place before giving tips on what to see and do during my visit. The breakfast is good and kitchen great for cooking dinners etc. Also a good place to relax with DVDs for watching and a nice common area. Rooms are also big and clean. A bit of a walk from the centre of town. But nothing major, also regular trams from the centre.
Location is perfect! Close to everything and easy to find from the station. The rooms are very basic and the only area to hang out in is downstairs at the bar. Security is low as the door up to the rooms is unlocked and although you are supposed to hand in your key to the bar when out and collect when going upstairs I doubt everyone does. The rooms have to be locked from the inside so it is up to the last one In at night.
The hostel is in a Great location. All the major attrractions of the city are in walking distance. Bathrooms are clean and rooms are well maintained. I enjoyed the volunteer run night out to a local free concert. A great way to meet someone living in the city and fellow travellers. The BBQ night was a bit weird with it being a folk music open night. Not your typical hostel BBQ. Still a nice evening.
Love the free dinner on Sunday night. Good food and gets people mingling. Also a great location close to all the main attractions.
This Hostel was great. My only complaint would be the Dorm room was extremely cramped! If they took out some beds it would be a lot more comfortable. Fantastic shower! Good sized kitchen. Supermarket just down the street. Beach within walking distance and a bus stop close by too. The place is run by a lovely couple who make you feel very welcome.
