The cleanliness of this hostel was poor. Every day the bins in the toilets would be overflowing at some stage, they either need to empty them more often or get bigger bins! The kitchen was also quite dirty. We didn't get a key for our hostel room for the first night. You can only be buzzed into the actual hostel, so if there isn't a staff member there you'll be waiting for a few minutes. There are only 3 communal toilets for the dorm
Very nice hostel. Clean, secure and social.
Good buffet breakfast. Pleasant hostel.
Very good hostel. Great bar, on sight travel agent and allow you to start a tab and only pay on check out.
Security was the weakest point with the door on the street open during the day, often with no one at the door. There were some lockers in common areas but not in our room and our room didn't lock. The beds were comfortable, showers hot and hostel clean, but no wifi.
This was a quiet, clean and very pleasant hostel. There aren't always English speaking staff on sight, I think they get called to come when it's thought to be necessary. It's about a 10-15 walk from the centre of town which can be a bit daunting at night due to some poor lighting and being away from the busy/touristy area. The female members of our group got hassled by locals during the walk, so maybe not the best option for solo female travellers.
Really nice hostel with a cool atmosphere and vibe. Bit of a walk from the centre of town but it's a small town. Hot water was a bit inconsistent. Staff very helpful, nice and can organise a number of tours.
Nice hostel, close to the main square. Very helpful staff. Had issues with hot water while we were there and the water stopped completely at one stage but was fixed overnight.
Nice helpful staff and good location. Comfortable stay.
Very nice hostel. Pete the manager/owner is really nice and very helpful. Waffles are amazing.
Nice hostel. We could only find two powerpoints in an 8 person room (there were extra ones downstairs in the bar)
I was very happy with this hostel. I've stayed at about 10 hostels this year and this was right up there amongst the best. Lockers are provided and it's close to the old town and some trendy bars. Really nice weekend in Warsaw.
This was a hotel, so it was very nice.
The hostel was fine. They could be much better if they fixed the leaking sink and emptied the toilet paper bins more often.
When we arrived we had this strange encounter with the owner trying to have us take a room we didn't book, but after that happened it all turned out okay. The actual building is a bit old, quiet and dark but within the rooms it's fine.
At first I thought the staff weren't that nice but most of them turned out to be lovely. No lockers in the room, and the 6 bed dorm was a bit cramped but comfortable enough.
Unfortunately one of us got bed bugs or fleas. The location is very good, the staff are okay at best, and not all proficient in English. We booked a 3 person room but only had 2 (double) beds in there.
Nice place. Very clean with very nice staff. The dorm room is out the front of the building, so if the door isn't locked somebody could easily enter the room unnoticed, which doesn't have lockers.
Very nice hostel. Sometimes hard to get hot water but the location, staff and value for Money were very good
Nice, clean and central hostel. I stayed in both a dorm and private room, which were both very nice and equipped with air conditioning, which was highly necessary! Don't be put off by the stairs up to the hostel (elevator currently broken), since it's very nice once you're up there. Minor issue: one of the drivers they organised for my transfer arrived late, making my journey to the airport for an international flight quite nervous!
Very nice hostel, AMAZING staff. They were lovely. My room was very very hot at night
No lock/key for the dorm room. Lovely staff and all up I thought it was a very nice hostel.
Considering we were in the middle of the desert it was fantastic! Only issue was that it was unclear that dinner was not included. The description said, "We will prepare Bedouin food for the main dish, - some vegetables, rice will prepare Bedouin food." I assumed it was included in the price...
Adequate. No frills. Some staff were nice some were a bit abrupt.
If you're a lone traveller it might be a bit more difficult to meet other travellers since they're single/double rooms, but I think it's the trade off you need to make if you want a nicer hostel/hotel.
The staff here were absolutely lovely. An extra lock/key for our room door would probably go down well but I wasn't personally worried about the security of my stuff since staff were always in the lobby.
