Directions: Located in an alley called 37 Chareon Krung. To find it go the intersection of Chareon Krung and Sri Praya. From there walk a few meters up Chareon Krung and the first alley you encounter will be 37 Chareon Krung - there is a street sign. If you walk down Chareon Krung and you pass the tall post office building on your right - you are going in the wrong direction. Nearest station: Hua Phalong MRT. Take exit 1.
Great staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. I was given excellent info on what to see and where to eat. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Lots of good eating options nearby run by friendly local people. I enjoyed the food at Sunee (local food) and Mr Go (western food and fruit shakes).
Good value. Short walk to the Royal Palace and Sisowath Quay. Stayed three times in a private room on the ground floor. Room was not fancy and it did not have windows, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff are helpful and speak english. Easy to buy bus tickets at reception. The restaurant has reasonable prices.
Great place to stay. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location in a quiet alley in the backpacker area. Short walk from where the major open-tour buses drop off passengers.
This small family run hostel is excellent value. It's managed by a great guy called Binh. He is kind, friendly and very helpful with whatever you need. His parents are also very nice people. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Located within walking distance from the town center, the Cathedral and the Crazy House.
Nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Quiet location close to restaurants and convenience stores. The food at Cafe 41 is very good - located directly opposite the hotel. If you want to kill a few hours in a Starbucks-style cafe try Highlands Coffee, 83 Tran Hung Dao.
A great place to stay. Amazing staff - kind, friendly, helpful and super-attentive. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Good location close to restaurants, atm's and a convenience store
A great place to stay. The staff are kind and super-helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The in-room Wifi was very fast. The hotel is conveniently located close to everything. Good value for money.
A great place to stay. The staff are kind, helpful and super-friendly. Kim and David are willing to help with anything you need. Very laid back atmosphere. Good location in the Old Town. About 30min walk from the train station. I stayed there four times between trips to Mai Chau, Sapa and Halong Bay. Felt like a home away from home.
Fantastic staff - super friendly and helpful. Great hostel in a good location within walking distance of the train station and bus station. Great atmosphere in the common area.
A good hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located near the Dongsi subway station. Did the tour to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall which was very good. Safety Note: "Hullo where you from?" - Beware of people who approach you close to or inside the Forbidden City claiming to be chinese tourists or art students. If they invite you to join them for tea/coffee or to visit an art gallery - don't go - even if they are wearing some badge identifying them as a guide. It's a scam.
Great hostel run by very friendly and helpful people. Good location and delicious food. Tip: close to the nearby square is a very nice cafe called 'Somewhere Else' - friendly english speaking staff, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
A great hostel with wonderfully warm and friendly staff. The hostel is located in a quiet part of the old town. The simplest way to get there: Find your way to Sifang Square. If you arrive in a square and see KFC and McDonald's then you are actually in Yuhe Square - Sifang Square is a short walk down Dongda Street. At the lower end of Sifang Square there are two streets, take the one on the left (Wuyi Street). Continue down this street until you reach Panba Hostel on the left.
