Whatever you do, do not book the 8 bed dorms- far too small for that many people; making it too hot to even sleep. With the constant added noise of the outside bar and clubs playing music you will find it a struggle to get an hours sleep at the most. The other rooms are okay though- although you will still hear the loud music from the clubs and bars.

The hostel was nice but the mens bathroom facilities were shocking. in much need of renovation. both the bathrooms and the kitchen would get closed off for ages while being cleaned. when i walked into the kitchen to pour a glass of water i was shouted at to get out by the male receptionist- every experience with him was an unpleasant one - rude and obnoxious who threw his weight around the place. Do not reccommend to stay here.

Hi Thanks for your review! In fact, we are getting our bathrooms renovated and spruced up in July 2014. I'm sorry you felt like we took a long time cleaning - we close the bathrooms and kitchen down completely to get a good clean done, as you can imagine it would be impossible with 80 guests coming through every 5 minutes! Our receptionist is from Argentina - and I am surprised- as this is the first negative response I have heard about him in his 7 months with us! Happy Travels! Brooke

Great hostel, very clean with great modern faciltiies. The only problem we had with this hostel was the security. One of the cleaners left our door open which meant anyone could have gone into our room and pretty much anyone can walk into the place. You can tell a lot of hard work and effort has been put into making this hostel what it is and the staff go far to make you feel at home. Would highly recommend this place!

The kitchen has no windows and is tiny- so it's boiling. It is definitely not big enough for the entire hostel to use either. The bathrooms were also disgusting- couldn't wait to get out of them. The taps were all falling off and the shower was luke warm. We only booked here for one night's sleep so it's okay if you're really looking to budget and don't mind putting up with somewhere a bit grimy for the night.

Stayed in the double room. Despite the wall that is your lookout for the window, this hostel is a decent price and unlike some other hostels they provide you with plenty of blankets and a decent heater for when it's cold. Central location too- our bus stopped right outside the place!
