Wombats City Hostel Munich

Nice staff. Very clean rooms. Happy hour needs to be longer considering there is a far better happy hour at euro youth just down the Road.

Oh yeah. To lure even more of your party bunch into our place or what?! :);):) Just kidding. Thanks for the hint! We'll discuss this with our bar manager. Have fun onwards and: Always know where your towel is!

Great place. Much better value than wombats just up the Road, and a pretty good price for Berlin. Good happy hour. Bar was very understaffed though at peak time.

Koh Tao Central Hostel

Dorms clean and comfortable. Good facilities. Showers luke warm but the staff said something about power. Toilets stunk, the worst I've smelt, though. But there was some air freshener you could use to mask it. No communal area but a little patch of grass our front. Cool theme based on the London underground. Bit expensive, since if you do padi you get cheaper accom.

This place is fantastic. Best value anywhere. Right next to a supermarket. 2 mins walk from a beautiful beach. Not too far from the ferry pier. Staff incredible. A/c dorm's really great and i think it's he same price. Although the front dorm is too bright and noisy but if you're partying who cares.

Samon is a bit of a legend. Such a helpful and nice guy. They'd overbooked so they upgraded me to an awesome bungalow for free. The food here is great, and the do it yourself bbq is so much fun. Located right on the river a short trip out of town is perfect. And the party hostels are 50metres walk down the road which is perfect so you can get loose and then relax.

One Stop Hostel

This place is in a good location right near the river just up from all the bars etc. The security is good. And the place is nice enough. The idea of a mezzanine with a tv is cool. But all the sound zooms straight to the dorms. So earplugs crucial any time before 3 am. when I stayed there there was a really obnoxious group who would put a movie on super loud and shout and laugh at the screen late into the night.

Generator Hostel Dublin

Dublin, Ireland

This place is a massive, new hostel a fair bit out of the action of Dublin and it really suffers for it. There is no atmosphere to speak of and the staff are really condescending and unhelpful. In the other hand the place is clean and there are nice big bathrooms.

Definitely not worth the price you pay. The location is a big negative, it's very far removed from the main action and sights in Paris. And the area itself is a bit dodgy. Although it is near a canal which is quite pretty. Positives: MOST of the staff were really lovely and helpful. Good laundry facilities. Nice breakfast in the morning. Clean. And curtains on the bed.

International Budget Hostel

For the price this hostel is not too bad, a bit out of the very city centre but close to the big supermarket and shops which is good. You get what you pay for, ther is access to plates and a microwave by you have to ask the staff to do it for you because you aren't allowed in the kitchen. Staff fairly pleasant, although its annoying that the reception closes at night and doesn't reopen till 9 am. Rooms are nothing special but no bunks which was amazing!

Loved this hostel! Far more than others I stayed at in Paris! Fantastic location, really central and with shops and restaurants nearby and all the sites a short metro away. Shame they don't have a bar though but there's a good kitchen and the lack of a bar means there are no issues with byo. Helpful staff Cute balconies in the rooms overlooking the the rue de dunkerque!

There wasn't any wifi at the hostel even though we were told there would be. Beautiful view of the canal, not overly central but a short bus ride to the main piazza. Cheap supermarket 5 min walk away cheap delicious pizza place a couple doors down. Staff were pretty helpful. No washing facilities or kitchen

I think my camera got a virus off their pc. But the dorms were nice. Fairly centralised location. Fantastic buffet breakfast!

This place goes off. Super busy always. Little basement they turn into a little club late at night. Drinks quite pricey but the super cocktails are so strong they end up being pretty good value. Clean, comfortable dorms.

I love that they turned the little basement into a nightclub after a certain time in the evening. very clean. Good price. The cocktails are that strong that they're actually good value for money! This place is always packed as well which means you get to meet loads of people. Book ahead of time if you can though. Oh and the A/C in the bedroom didn't work.

Paraga Beach Hostel

Mykonos, Greece

This place is great value. Food is nice but expensive. Great location; right overlooking the beach and just 2 mins wall over the hill to the next one. Bus stop right at the door. Bungalows are basic but the place was super cheap when I stayed. The wifi situation is annoying, the code constantly doesn't work and only lasts one use.

Great place right under the acropolis run by expats. Great rooftop bar space. Drinks cheap enough. Close to food and bars. Nice dorms, lockers inside and ours had a little balcony. Bathrooms are basic but decent.

Really enjoyed our stay, staff were lovely, and were gracious and helpful despite our late-night shenanigans. Room was clean and large, laundry was done within hours. They didn't try to push tours on us and the location was very good-close to bars and other hostels. We stayed an extra night here at the last minute and there were no problems. The only negative; if staying in a front room (with balcony) bring earplugs, because Le Loi is a busy street.

Good night's rest-it was just off the main strip down a quiet alley. Helped us organise buses + got us a better price by calling several companies (we went during peak tet). Room was nice, except that there is some sort of military compound behind the hotel which had a parade one morning and woke us up with a trumpet from 6am. Lovely staff (looked after my friend and I when she had her drink spiked). They let us use bathroom facilities even after we checked out before our bus. Would recommend!
