This place is fantastic. Great courtyard. Perfect location. Clean. Wifi a bit dodgy but not too bad. Good kitchen. Great atmosphere. Constructive feedback: they've got great trimmings but they need to consider some basics: 1 x toilet + one in the common area is not enough for 20 people. There was no rubbish bin in our room which is inconvenient. And they need some power boards by the beds so you can plug in a few things while you sleep.

Cool place. Just a 10-15 min walk from the monuments along the beautiful river and things near supermarkets. I liked the fact it wasn't 'in' the city-city bit. Building super nice. great showers and facilities, cool roof terrace- although I didn't use the jacuzzi because the water looked so cloudy...

Wifi a bit finicky but everything else PERFECT. Directions from the bus station could be a little clearer (should say what exit to come out at- I went the wrong exit and it took me 30 mins). Staff lovely. Fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful tiled interior. Super close to everything. Ten mins walk to the bus station and big supermarket. Family run place, super relaxed really chill. Cute little terrace to watch the sunset. Very close to the park with the peacocks and wall if you like to jog/walk.

Such a wonderful place to stay! Nuno and Vasco were the best hosts- everything from the heart. Great location. Short walk to everything and bit out of the tourist traps so groceries cheaper etc. Beautiful courtyard garden where we all hung out. Made great friends here! Everything brand new. Beautiful old building with art on the walls. Lovely bedrooms. Nice coffee in the morning. Only one thing I would have liked would have been some muesli and milk for brekky.

The good: Polish guy in the morning was nice. Wifi: fast. Excellent location. Relatively clean. The bad: girl at reception was so rude. Wouldn't let me use the shower after travelling for over 24+hrs. She then ignored me for about 15 mins when I wanted to check in later. I understand security but she lied to my face about the reason. If she can scan my passport what difference does it make? No atmosphere. Pub downstairs expensive. No kitchen Overall, worst hostel in my eurotrip so far.

Free scooter tour was super cool even though we got rained on! Boiled eggs for brekky is cool. But they really should make more of an effort with at least some wholemeal toast instead of just white- it's still super cheap, so I don't know why they don't offer it. Great overall! Perfect location. Bathrooms good. Good selection of movies to watch. But we need more powerpoints in the rooms. The power board was nowhere near my bunk so I had to charge things at breakfast. Wifi was TERRIBLE.

This place was great. Showers were lovely although it tended to run out of hot water (2 out of 3 shower I had were cold). Perfect location, close to the action but not noisy at night. Not a super party vibe, but you can always go out to a bar if you want that. More of a nice place to chill. Free tea and coffee were a huge bonus (and the coffee is not instant, which is nice!). Thought the towel hire fee was a bit steep but the accom is so cheap I guess they have to cover the laundering costs.

Candice and the staff were lovely and helpful. Central metro station quick trip to everywhere but immediate surrounds not that interesting. Any time we had an issue they resolved it really quickly and courteously. Wifi was absolutely terrible though. Only worked intermittently. Decent bar, though drinks and food pricey. Bed was so comfy! Best sleep I've had in China (we had a private room). And we only had to share the bathroom with one other private room so it was basically an ensuite.

Fantastic for the price (we got a special rate-10¥! Available to a limited number per day. The good: staff helpful. Pretty quiet and big bunks so you could get a good night's rest. they had free dumpling, tea and movie parties. Cool common room with pool. They have a restaurant, bar and room service - though we didn't try these. Close to a fruit shop and buses and ten mins to Wal-Mart. Under floor heating in dorms! The bad: the floor in our dorm needed a mop. Bit far to main attractions.

Thank you for your time to write a good review for us, we are happy to read it, yes, we have free parties at night, and the big actives room with pool, our hostel is near the supermarket and the Muslin area. About the mop in the dorm, that's a good suggestion,we'll do that, and also we will tell our housekeeper to clean the room frequently, hope to see you next time, Kind Regards from Xi'an

The good: this place has an awesome design! the bunks are massive double bed cubbies with privacy- like their own little rooms. They only just built it so it's all brand new nice bathroom and they're building a bar downstairs which will be cool. The guys that run it are lovely and cool, they took us out to a local party with them. Near a train station and 7-11. Free coffee and tea. Good wifi. They just need a few more hooks to hang things on in the cubbies. Ours had no shelves in them.

The good: cool funny creative staff who love painting and building things. This place is not a youth hostel though, really authentic little old Japanese building. BEST LOCATION- so close to the castle and bus stops. Lockers in the room, heating etc. Super quaint and quirky place. Free coffee and tea, fridge to use and kitchen facilities as well. Only one other lady there The area is super safe so it doesn't really matter that the guys left the code for the security door on the door itself.

We were a bit disappointed when we arrived. the dorms were really crowded as was the whole hostel, there were no locks on the rooms (only central lockers in the common room) and the kitchen was tiny. But the place grew on us! Great location. Really central. Lovely helpful staff. I didn't like all the rules though- only one shower you could use any time of day. And you weren't allowed to use the hairdryers between 12-8am which sucks when you have long hair.

The facilities here are really excellent. I bet the hostel would be even better in the summer when guests are more able to use the outdoor areas.Rooms were so clean. Beds comfy. Kitchen was fully stocked, with all utensils and 2 sinks and stoves, oils, tea, coffee and soy sauce that you could use. Although the common room was quiet (not super party oriented- until we started playing drinking games in there) you could always have a chat. And there was a bar downstairs with a cool accoustic gig.

Best K's we've found! Massive kitchen with all utensils and stoves. Clean comfy rooms. Cool tv lounge dining with blankies you can borrow. Super helpful staff. Free coffee, tea, oil etc. Would highly recommend!! Only thing I would say is the signs in the bathrooms telling people to pay to use the showers after they check out are a bit unwelcoming, especially if people are catching night buses and things after staying several nights. Not a good feeling to be made to feel unwelcome.

Such a great place! Staff experts and very willing to help. Really modern dorms and commom room with comfy couches, tatami tv and dining areas. Great facilities esp the kitchen. Close to shops and train station. Spotlessly clean. But I didn't like the signs saying you should pay if you wanted to shower after checking out, it seems unnecessary and rude given you've paid tp stay there for several nights and a showef is such a small cost.

Great place for private room for cheap. Is a 'love hostel' which is funny, it really didn't matter. Staff were lovely, and very helpful, despite only having a little English. They provide nice fresh towels, robes, bottled water, tea and coffee to the rooms for free daily. It is almost at the end of the subway line-so not very central but really close to the station and shops. If there was a common room we didn't find it. But it's okay if you're just exploring all day and into the evening.

Dorms clean and comfortable. Good facilities. Showers luke warm but the staff said something about power. Toilets stunk, the worst I've smelt, though. But there was some air freshener you could use to mask it. No communal area but a little patch of grass our front. Cool theme based on the London underground. Bit expensive, since if you do padi you get cheaper accom.

Samon is a bit of a legend. Such a helpful and nice guy. They'd overbooked so they upgraded me to an awesome bungalow for free. The food here is great, and the do it yourself bbq is so much fun. Located right on the river a short trip out of town is perfect. And the party hostels are 50metres walk down the road which is perfect so you can get loose and then relax.

This place is in a good location right near the river just up from all the bars etc. The security is good. And the place is nice enough. The idea of a mezzanine with a tv is cool. But all the sound zooms straight to the dorms. So earplugs crucial any time before 3 am. when I stayed there there was a really obnoxious group who would put a movie on super loud and shout and laugh at the screen late into the night.

Definitely not worth the price you pay. The location is a big negative, it's very far removed from the main action and sights in Paris. And the area itself is a bit dodgy. For the price this hostel is not too bad, a bit out of the very city centre but close to the big supermarket and shops which is good. You get what you pay for, ther is access to plates and a microwave by you have to ask the staff to do it for you because you aren't allowed in the kitchen. Staff fairly pleasant, although its annoying that the reception closes at night and doesn't reopen till 9 am. Rooms are nothing special but no bunks which was amazing!

Loved this hostel! Far more than others I stayed at in Paris! Fantastic location, really central and with shops and restaurants nearby and all the sites a short metro away. Really enjoyed our stay, staff were lovely, and were gracious and helpful despite our late-night shenanigans. Room was clean and large, laundry was done within hours. They didn't try to push tours on us and the location was very good-close to bars and other hostels. We stayed an extra night here at the last minute and there were no problems. The only negative; if staying in a front room (with balcony) bring earplugs, because Le Loi is a busy street.

Good night's rest-it was just off the main strip down a quiet alley. Helped us organise buses + got us a better price by calling several companies (we went during peak tet). Room was nice, except that there is some sort of military compound behind the hotel which had a parade one morning and woke us up with a trumpet from 6am. Lovely staff (looked after my friend and I when she had her drink spiked). They let us use bathroom facilities even after we checked out before our bus. Would recommend!
