My friend and me come to regensburg at least once a year for the Dult festival and we always stay at brook lane hostel. This place is great, perfectly located, always clean and the staff is very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately I had to cancel this time due to illness and they were very helpful with this process. Next time we'll definitely stay there again.

Many reviews mention that the manager was unfriendly. Yes, she might appear a bit harsh at the first glance but she is a good and kindhearted person, friendly + very helpful! Besides, the place was one the cleanest guesthouses I have ever stayed at and unlike many other hostels in South East Asia, there were some kitchen facilities. Unfortunately it is a bit out of town so you have to take the bus or mrt everywhere, but the station is pretty close and, yes, the price is unbeatable for Singapore.

It was a bit of a hassle to check in because apparently they had no booking from us. The staff was nice though. The room was somehow like a hospital ward which was really special but I liked it, it was different to all the same bunk bed rooms.

Nice staff, clean rooms an facilities and pretty close to the bus and metro stations. But the aircon was a bit noisy.

Good and clean hostel with spacious rooms as well as neat and comfy beds. Everything was clean at all times and the staff was nice and helpful, but sometimes a bit patronizing. I'd definitely recommend this place as it is also around the corner to the bus station to the national park and beach and some good places to eat are around to.

We booked there but at the end didn't stay there (for reasons that have nothing to do with the property). But the overall impression was good, the rooms and facilities were clean and the staff nice and helpful. It's a bit hard to find, but I assume that it's a good and quite place to stay.

Worst place ever! When we arrived they had no booking, then gave us twice a wrong room. When we got the room we have booked we found it very dirty with hairs in the toilet seat and trash left from the person before. The worst was that the next morning I discovered heaps of ants helping themselves to my bag. The staff wasn't nice at all and somehow eery, too. The next morning we complained and decided to leave; they wanted to charge us still and the manager got impertinent and insulted us.

A bit out of town, but at least quiet. It was more like a campsite. The dorm was neat and clean with comfortable beds, the bathrooms (outdoors) however were full of ants. Still a good place to stay when in Pai.

The rooms, especially bathrooms are a bit run-down, but for the price it's good! And The owner who runs the hostel is very lovely and helpful. It is not far to walk from there into town. I'd stay there again!

Good place to stay for some days, it was clean, the staff was cool and the breakfast was good. I noticed that they have a bedbug problem (not in our room) but they are dealing with it accordingly. The aircon in our room didn't work properly so we got another room without requesting it, that's a good service for a hostel.

Good place to stay, nice staff, but sometimes they give wrong information, maybe due to language problems as their English was a bit poor. Also, some laundry got lost. But they are trying their best to help you with anything.

Quite a lovely place with very nice and helpful staff and good breakfast. The cleanliness could be improved though. My friend had a sticky plate or something in her locker which got stuck on her backpack. There was trash in the lockers, too and one was broken. But still a good place to stay at!

Don't let yourselves be fooled, you don't have unlimited free laundry here anymore. But apart from this the hostel is a good place to stay and the staff is very helpful, nice and talkative. We enjoyed our stay here.

Very disappointing. We had to pay 2$ extra pP/night if we want to use the aircon and this wasn't stated here. After the first night we had to change the room; the new one we got was smelly and the toilet didn't flush. We asked for a different room and got one with double bed and only 1 blanket. We wasted a whole morning with this hassle and when we were complaining (we still had to pay the full price!) they just said "if you don't like it here feel free to go somewhere else".... No words!

It is a lovely place just outside the town close to the beach with real hostel atmosphere. The staff is very nice, too! Unfortunately I found our room a bit dirty, there was dust and spider webs on the walls and trash behind the bunk beds. But still a good place to stay. Additional advice: if you want to rent a motorbike, don't do it right opposite the hostel, rather walk 3 minutes to the right. They know what customer service is.

The staff was very nice and helpful and the beds were really comfortable! Unfortunately, the rooms were a bit cold in athmosphere - we felt somehow like in a garage. Besides, people from the dorm next door hat to walk through our room to get in there, that sucked a bit. The restaurant downstairs is good, but they guve you drinking water and soy beans without you having requested it and then charge you for that eventually without mentioning it before.

Absolutely amazing staff, very helpful and nice. They got up early just to get us some breakfast because we had an early bus. Very lovely people and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only thing is that it is really hard to find and as it is new, your taxi driver might not know/find it, so either use their pickup service or mark it on a map. It is at the end of a side alley and not where the actual house number is.

Good place to stay, comfy beds and clean rooms. Staff was very nice and helpful, too. We arrived early at 7am and were able to check in and get a rest. There is no common room though, for those who want to socialize

We had a nice clean room with balcony, the staff was really nice, but a bit keen on selling bus tickets to travelers. But still a good place to stay if you want some comfort and privacy for little money.

Nice hotel with really comfy beds! (They are usually pretty hard in Vietnam). The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but all in all it's a good place for a short stay. The staff is a bit keen on selling you bus trips right on your arrival though.

Very lovely hostel with adorable staff that spoke very good English (which is not common in Vietnam). Rooms and bathrooms are clean, too. Would definitely come back.

I have no idea why this hostel has had such bad reviews recently. There are clean and spacious rooms and the staff was absolutely lovely and tried to sort out the best for you. They are easy-going and don't want to sell you unnecessary things and tours like many other hostels in Vietnam. I would stay there again!

Basic but nice hostel in good location. BUT: when I book an 8 bed dorm, I expect to get one and not a 16 bed dorm that is a bit separated but still all guests share 1 bathroom. 8 and 16 is definitely a huge difference and I wasn't the only person complaining about that.

We were a group if 4 including a couple and as such it was the perfect place to stay. There is no hostel atmosphere but you have privacy which can be nice also. The appartment was fairly clean but we had cockroaches which was a bit inconvenient but we know that this can happen in mediterranean places. It was well equipped, you have everything you need, towels, linen, kitchen tools, etc, but there are some tiny improvements that I'd recommend, i.e. a shower curtain.

After a bad experience in an old town hostel last time in Jerusalem, I decided to follow recommendations and book this hostel and it was really worth it! It was clean, the breakfast was really good and the rooftop is a very nice place to chill out after a day. It is located in the middle between the Central Bus Station and the old town and it's easy to reach by foot or tram. I'd definitely stay here again.

Nice and clean hostel with good dorms and bathrooms, cozy beds including curtains and a well-equipped kitchen. It is a bit far from the city center but still ok and there is a bus stop directly in front of the hostel. I really enjoyed my stay there and will choose this hostel again when back in Malmö.

The organisation was a bit weird - I've never received an e-mail or sms with the code, but when we arrived there we just called them and everything was alright. When you come in you'll find a letter with your name in the lobby that gives you the room number and room code. That was a bit odd because anybody could have taken it. Besides, the hostel was a good place to stay if you're looking for a clean and affordable place in Stockholm. There is no typical hostel atmosphere though.

One of the best places I've ever stayed! Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Comfy beds that offer much privacy with a curtain, even in a 16 bed dorm! Spacious lockers provided. Great location near to Alex, metro station in front of the door. The bar is really cool to hang out and meet cool people. Reasonable prices and good deals. I would definitely stay there again and can highly recomment this place to every traveller!

Common rooms and dorms were very neat and clean, only the bathroom floor was a bit dirty. The hostel was not very crowded when I stayed there, but I think there are too few bathrooms/toilets and I think when it's full that it will become a bit problematic. But that's the only not-so-good-think I've noticed, besides, this is a great place to stay. The staff was very nice, helpful and unproblematic. I can recommend this hostel!

I loved my stay at Urbany, even though its a huge hostel and there were some school classes that were a bit annoying sometimes. But the facilities are great and it is very clean. I loved the roof terrace and the community areas where I have met so many cool people and made new friends. Free entry to some clubs and to the sports center next door is a nice extra. The breakfast was very good, too. I will definitely come back!

It's a basic hostel but good enough. The location is nice, close to the beach, nightlife and public transport. The staff is very nice and helpful. The shower facilities are a bit inconvenient as you don't have much privacy. All in all, it's a good place to stay for a couple of days. I think it is a bit overpriced, but I guess that's because of the city and other hostels are not cheaper.

If I ever come back to Tel Aviv (and I'll definitely do that), this hostel is my place to be and should be yours aswell! Great location, very clean rooms, comfy beds, cool and laid-back staff who have been nice and helpful at any time. The hostel is new and still not complete, means that there are some facilities missing, but that's no problem at all. I really enjoyed my stay at Avenida and felt welcome and at home. See you in Berlin! ;)

It was more like a hotel than a hostel and so were the facilities. Very clean rooms and bathrooms, spacious rooms, lots of facilities and comfy beds. Optional dinner and breakfast is quite expensive, but as I said, it's optional. All in all a good place, but consider that there is nothing around except massada. And by saying this, I mean really nothing, not even a shop etc. Also, the beaches are about 15 km away, but there are buses and the bus stop is right in front of the hostel.

It was a great experience to sleep in a Bedouin tent and sitting around the camp fire with locals and other guests. The beds were really comfy and cozy (which is necessary, as it gets pretty cold at night). Unfortunately, it is a bit far away from Petra and Wadi Mousa, so if you don't have an own car you have to use the shuttle service which is at an extra cost of 5 JD per car (not per person). But still, I would recommend this hostel with its friendly and helpful staff to my friends.

It was a good place to stay, clean facilities and a cool rooftop terrace, but too few bathrooms. The staff was very nice and helpful and the social live at this hostel is very good, so it's easy to get into contact with other travelers. All in all, I would recommend this hostel to my friends.

Huge hostel with lots of facilities - you'll find everything you need. I had a private room with bathroom ensuite which was very clean, it was like a hotel room. More than you can expect for the price! Unfortunately it was a bit noisy at night, but it was ok for me. Prices for dinner are really too high though. Location is quite good, it's not central but the train and tram station is just in front of the hostel. All in all I had a pleasant stay and can recommend the hostel.

If you're looking for a safe, clean and cool but cheap place to stay in Cape Town - this one is yours! It is basic but very clean - bathroom facilities, kitchen and floors are cleaned on a daily basis. The rooms are pretty small, but that's ok, usually you don't come to Cape Town to hang around in your dorm ;-) There are many spots to chill out, inside or outside, and to socialise with others. The staff was great, really nice, helpful and laid-back! Due to security very safe aswell. I loved it!
