I loved my time at Old City Philly House, the staff is simply amazing and kind, and the nice and cozy environment makes it feel more like a house than a hostel, but still with daily activities and social gatherings. Location is great, in the middle of old town Philly, just blocks away from the main touristic spots. Free beer everyday!
One of the best hostels I've stayed at so far. Great facilities, incredible staff and activities everyday, and awesome location. A must in Boston.
Maybe I was not lucky during my stay, or maybe this is just how the hostel is all the time. I was unlucky enough to stay at the second floor, in a room by the side of the building, just above the hostel's bar. I could not get any sleep literally from 9PM until 4AM as I could listen to every single drum beat going on at the bar. My locker had a loose lock, which worried me a lot during the day. The location is alright, but still far away from Manhattan (takes aprox. 20 min to get there).
Zeppelin is a great hostel with great location and staff. Cool chill out area to meet fellow travelers. I definitely recommend.
This hostel was a great surprise. Excellent atmosphere offers each night a cool environment for travelers to meet each other and chill out. Staff is great, one of the best I've seen.
Regular hostel. The environment and facilities are great, and dinner options are good for traveler's on a budget. Location is good and close to historical town center and bus stop to daily tours (such as Hallstatt).
Great hostel with great value for money. A little far away from main attractions, such as Chain Brigde and Pest downtown, but extremely close to the Parliament. Not a big worry, as a walk by the Danube is always pleasant. Curtains on beds and individual power points are excellent.
Great hostel chain with great facilities. Location is great if you need to catch a train at Westbanhof or arriving from it, but it is kind of far away from main attractions (20 minutes walk to main historical area). Since public transportation is expensive in Austria, this can be kind of a pain.
I simply loved this hostel. It is more like a house, which makes total sense in a little town like Cesky Krumlov. Quiet environment with well equipped kitchen and really clean bathrooms. No late check-in as reception closes early.
The location is the best, literally one minute away from the famous astronomical clock. However the social environment was really disappointing for a solo traveler, like myself. The common area was rarely used by travelers as it is in a different floor from the the majority of the rooms.
Great location just steps away from the UBahn and SBahn. Environment is ok and could be more vivid with more activities for people to socialize. Not a party hostel.
My stay at Che Lagarto could have not been better. The hostel is great, it has great facilities, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The AC was great after warm days on the falls. The free caipirinhas hour was great to meet fellow travelers! The staff is super energetic and fun, Gabriel and Gustav were great and helped a lot during my stay.
Great hostel just by the beach, and only a few minutes walk away from the historic downtown. Perfect place to chill and relax while having beers by the beach.
Great hostel , definitely would stay here again. AC is a great thing in Central America . The only down side of this hostel is the reduced amount of plugs in the room. Beside that all good.
For sure the best hostel in Cartagena. Even though it is a bit more pricey than the other ones, the location and the atmosphere pay for it. Great place to meet and talk with fellow travelers!
This hostel is own by a family, who were extremely helpful at all times. The only really bad thing about my stay was the noise at night. It is simply impossible to sleep without earplugs. The hostel is located in a really touristic area and near universities, so a lot of bars everywhere and until the middle of the night. Since the rooms have no soundproof every music around seemed to be playing by your bed, the same happened with another traveler's conversations on the common area.
I'm not sure if I was simply unlucky with this hostel or it is like this all the time. To start with the water socket from the shower broke just when I checked in. There was water everywhere. The staff was helpful and moved me to another room. This hostel is kind of a party hostel and usually people stay drinking at the roof, I was unlucky to have two of the drunkest and disrespectful girls sleeping at the same room, not a nice thing when you need to go to Machu Picchu the next day.
One of the best hostels I've been to. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always there to help you or just have a nice chat about Cusco or any big else. The facilities and rooms are great and comfortable. Bathrooms are extremely clean with hot showers. The environment is a plus, this hostel is perfect to meet new people and to have a nice night of rest after a long day touring. Totally recommend it!!
Nice Hostel overall. If you are not into party, don´t stay here. I enjoyed the facilities and the security (you have a wristband to access the hostel from the street) as well as the bed, big and comfy. Good and cheap foods and drinks. Near downtown area.
Definitely recommend this hostel. The environment is great as well as the location and facilities . I found the bathroom really clean all the times as well as the kitchen. The rooms are warm and cozy. Gabriel, the manager, was a great host, but the rest of the staff could be a little more gentle.
I really loved this Hostel, the staff is amazing and really helpful and the facilities are great! There are tons of bathrooms and restrooms, so we never need o wait in line to take showers! I will come back here for sure next time I'm in Barcelona!
Really great hostel! The rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning, which is a plus. The walk to the beach is around 15 minutes, and from the train station is less than 2 min walking. The facilites are good and they have wi fi everywhere in the building, the kitchen and the atmosphere are great! They had spaghetti parties for €3,00 and free champagne party once! It was great!
Really nice flat, i enjoyed my time in Paris here. They only give you one key though, which can be a pain if you and your friends leave and go out at different times. The flat is small, and usually you can hear people from the other floors talking. Not a big issue though...
Good hostel to stay in Edinburgh, i really enjoyed it! Definitely recommend it. 15 min walk from the city centre, other than that it is really nice and close to the New Town!
I really loved my stay in the Walrus. Not only the location is perfect (5 min walk to the House of Parlament), but also the staff is the most helpful I`ve ever met in a Hostel. I really recomend it.
It was a good hostel for the price I paid... nothing special though. Kind of distant form the city center, even though the metro station is just by it.
I really enjoyed this hostel. The beds weere really comfortable and the rooms were cleaned everyday. Wi-fi only works on the main lobby though. If you plan to stay near the city center, this hostel might be a little distant.
Really good hostel, the location is PERFECT in Buenos Aires, you can go anywhere in the city in a matter of 40 minutes. Kind of noisy because it is by the biggest avenue in the world, but it wasn't a problem for me once the window was closed. Good price for your money, and really nice staff, helped a lot! Bed sheets could be cleaner
Good hostel for the price I paid, really clean bathrooms and internal heater really good as well.
This hostel is amazing, i would even recommend it to my grandma, it is very clean, really easy access, and the host Stefano is really cool! The rooms are amazing, the bathrooms really nice and clean. For sure i will stay there next time i go to Rome!
