Good atmosphere, cool events every night, excellent location close to Plaza de las Armas, poor breakfast though (just bread, butter and jam plus hot drinks). Bar is a bit expensive and it is not allowed to bring beverages from outside.
Hostel located at the very heart of Sultanahmed, where the main tourist attractions of Istanbul are to be found. Rooms are large, bathrooms are excellent, lockers are available if you bring your own padlock. A delicious turkish breakfast is included and the terrace bar offers a great view of the Bosphorus and a cool atmosphere. Around the hostel there are lots of cool restaurants that, although being mostly touristy, offer great food for a reasonable price.
The hostel is well located in Taksim Square, an excellent point to get to know the nightlife of Istanbul or to go shopping during the day and close to the bus stop for the shuttle buses to Sabiha Airport. The main tourist attractions can be reached by tram or subway. The hostel is simple but cozy and very personal. Mr. Paprika is a lovely person who tries to help his guests in every way he can.
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Rooms are great, with A/C, comfy beds, individual reading lights and spacious lockers under the beds. Breakfast is very good. Staff is amazing, really friendly and ready to help at all times. Location is great, close to main attractions. Walking tour leaving the hostel is awesome!
Mattresses a little uncomfortable, but other than that, no complaints. Very friendly staff.
