I would definitely recommend the mad monkey to stay in Phnom Penh. They offer all what you can wish: clean room, hot shower, good beds, nice bar, good food etc. The staff is also really friendly. If you want to have a quiet evening, ask to have a room not too close from the bar ;)
Clean room, hot shower, 5 min walk to the city center but nothing special and a bit expensive
The room looks like an hospital room, without window ( there was one but we had to keep curtains closed as it gives on the corridor). However looking at the room rate, which is above concurrency, you get what you payed for. We stayed tjere one night.
Very nice place and Bryan was the most helpful person we met on our trip!! We stayed in the dorm, which was quiete and pretty clean, but the beds could have been more comfortable. The tuk-tuk service was good. And the location as well as it's located 5' away from pub street.
Nice place to stay, clean and comfortable. Bike rental at good rate! However it was a bit noisy (neighbor's conversations sounds as IN your room) and not quite located in the center of Luang Prabang.
Staying there was a real good surprise. The room was really nice and the price was adapted. It was quiet and the housekeeper was helpful. You need 5 to 10 min walk to the city center.
We wouldn't advice to stay in this hostel despite the quiete good location as the room was really small with a window on the corridor. The atmosphere was not special and be careful if you want to book a bus ticket through the hostel staff (specially sleeping bus).
