The staff was awesome! Very helpful when we had to leave early in the morning. Gave a good restaurant suggestion. Only concern was that we booked a room with 9 beds (which I was confused about the odd number when booking) and there was a twin bed in the very centre of four bunk beds. Who puts one twin bed in the centre of the room? Really awkward and hard to sleep when eight people are milling about in the middle of the night!

One of the guys at the Front Desk was less than helpful and kind of rude (Nick I think). None of the toilets flushed which lead to gross bathrooms. Location was good and the staff leading social events were top notch! For the money, it was fun and close to things so I would probably stay again.

Hostel was close to a metro stop and within walking distance of all the touristy things in Madrid. Clean, fun a d good for meeting people. Walking tour with Erica was good. Book this one! Bad part: rip off pub crawl and one cranky reception dude.
