Good: Good facilities, really close to Trieste, pretty cheap Bad: We booked for same night arrival and got an email later from the hostel that we could only check-in before 8pm. It was pure luck that I had some wifi and saw/replied to that email, otherwise we would not have a room. There was a birthday party going on just below our window with some yodeling until at least 1 AM... The lady that arranged our payment in the morning was very grumpy and businessy.

Great, simple hostel. Close to beach and old city center. Eva was really nice and helpful. Could use a bigger kitchen/better utensils.

Owner is great! There were some troubles with drunk french blokes in our dorm, but he managed it very well. It's the risk of staying in a dorm. The hostel could use an outside common area and a little bit more color/atmosphere! More than just a bunch of tourist leaflets at the entrance. Close to beach, Pula, and Kamenjak park (it's great for cycling).

Chill Inn Hostel, Tulum, Mexico

It's a great hostel! The included breakfast is good and changes every day (Over 3 days, I had fruit salad with granola, chilaquilas and a great sandwich with lots of veggies). Facilities are clean and kitchen can be freely used. Opt for the air con room if you can because it can get really hot in Tulum. Best part is the atmosphere! Staff is very nice and helpful, cheap bikes and snorkels for rent. Met some amazing people there.

Nice hostel to start or end your vacation! A few blocks away from ADO bus station. Staff is great, room is fine too. Communal dinner is good opportunity to meet new people and exchange stories.

Wah Han Hostel, Guiyang, China
10.0
1st Aug 2014

If you come to Guiyang, I can definitely recommend Wah Han Hostel! Owner Shinmiao does a great job in creating a laid back atmosphere, is a great help when you need advice on where to go and (being a Singaporean) speaks perfect English and Chinese. The four-bed dorm is sufficient for its purpose (sleeping) although it was pretty warm during the night (no airco). Sanitation is kept spotless and drinks (beer, water) are pretty cheap. We greatly enjoyed our stay here!

We arrived at 2am in Marrakech, but fortunately it was not a problem for Hassan to pick us up from where the cab driver dropped us and lead us through the mazes of the city. As with all the hostels in Marrakech it is quite hard to find, but well worth it. Very friendly staff, good free WiFi and a desktop that's free to use. Bathrooms are clean and solid. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere in the common area. We liked it so much that we came back the last day before we had to catch our flight.

Littly Rose Youth Home to Stay, Melaka, Malaysia

3rd Feb 2012

Melaka is a relaxed city with lots of culture. Little Nyonya added to the experience by also being very relaxed. The owner was sincerely interested in my travels and study. She provided a map and plenty recommendations. She was so nice that we decided to stay another night. The rooms are very clean, shower is nice and hot. Location is a 5min walk from the main "culture" street and 5 walk in the other direction for the big mall.
