Nice Etape

This guesthouse is a completely mess. We got confused because according to this website we were supposed to stay at Brigitte's place but we wrongly booked that mess of Nice Etape. The place is so rude, odd and the owner so stupid. She warned us twice as she did think we were talking so loud (not true). The location is far from down town and near the railway station, where you have so much noise during the night (trains passing every 30 min so loudly).

We went there in new year's eve. The price was so well comparing to other hostels or hotels. The room was big with facilities but no bathroom. The staff was so friendly but in another building. The location is so strategic as you can walk 1 minute and you are in the heart of the town.

We spent there two nights in a four shared room. The hostel is quite near to the train station and town. It has all facilities as kitchen, common room, internet and computer service and lockers. Nevertheless, wifi connection was not so good as I tried to use my laptop and it was impossible get connected to the network. The ambiance was so party animal but we could get to sleep.

We just spent a night there. The hostel was good, a little difficult to find it, but the location was strategic as it had direct connection to the center of the town in 5 minutes walking. It was fully equipped with two kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, living room and lockers room. Rooms were also fully equipped with TV and guard ropes. Unfortunately, the staff was not so friendly. When we reached the hostel, our welcome was not so charming. And, unhopefully there was any ambiance in the hostel.

It's simply: you got what you pay... Both, room and toilet, were so tiny, but clean. Kindly staff. No breakfast (you have to pay it separately). Someone was snoring during the night and we heart it through the walls, so it's been a little difficult to get to sleep quickly. Good location.

Totally awful!! Very small hostel with "paper" walls, small rooms, tiny toilets and no hot water! My stay was a completely bitterness! I couldn't get to sleep until 3 a.m. due to noise from the other noisy guests who were ringing all the time! A completely mess! The only good think is the staff and the situation! But, belive me, it's better not to go!
