Though close to a metro stop, the location isn't ideal, and the hostel itself is a lot more difficult to find than the directions online lead you to believe, but it is clean and quiet with a great deck at the top if you rent the private rooms and don't mind an excessive amount of stairs. Haha. The staff is friendly and helpful, and we felt perfectly safe there. Plus, there is a donner kebab place open till 2 am really close, which is fabulous.

Lido is an adorable little island, but it does take some time to take the boats to other places. I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, and the rooms to be clean and bright. The only thing you should avoid is the breakfast. It's pretty terrible; go to a cafe instead where their coffee doesn't come from a vending machine.

The only complaint I have is that the first room I stayed in was a little cold (room 5) and the second one I stayed in was really hot at night (room 8). Other than that, I thought the hostel was great, the free breakfast was excellent, and the staff was really friendsly and helpful.
