Hostel Heart of Sarajevo

Sarajevo, Bosnia And Herzegovina

We were late for our reservation but we were still able to use our deposit towards our stay. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and we had a good stay!

Hostel Hutteldorf

Vienna, Austria

Just lower your expectations and this hostel is fine. Just like everyone has said, it's far from the city, feels like dorms at boot camp, there aren't enough plugs, the shower only turns on for 5 seconds, and the staff is awkward and unfriendly. But it is a safe place to stay with no serious problems.

Hostel Aleje 28

Krakow, Poland

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and it is a short tram ride or a lovely walk to the main square. It is in like a dark alley so walking back alone is a bit uncomfortable at night but it seems very safe. There's not much of a common room but the dorm is spacious.

Parami Guesthouse

Chiang Mai, Thailand

We really enjoyed our stay here. The management was extremely friendly and helpful in planning our activities and day trips for our time in Chiang Mai, and the little kitchen for coffee and breakfast was convenient. Although it isn't near the Old City, it's in a nice part of Chiang Mai. The only lapse in cleanliness was that I think there were bugs in our beds as we all woke up with lots of little bites.

Bangkok, Thailand

HI-Sukhumvit is in a very lively part of Bangkok, especially for going out at night. It's easy to find because it's right next to the train station, which also makes it easy to get other places. The staff were friendly and helped us in planning the rest of our trip in Thailand. The air-conditioned rooms and roof garden definitely made it worth the money.
