Great hostel. Brilliant BBQ and sangria party on Saturday, and a brilliant, chilled environment where it was easy to meet people.Great staff who knew a lot about what was going on and what to do. Under-bed lockers were 'secured' with v. small filmsy chain, and only small padlocks would fit. Very comfortable beds, all with power sockets and lights. Really great hostel.

Fantastic small hostel. Warm welcome, nice and airy rooms, cool kitchen/lounge, and fun guy running the place who played drinking games with us, a group of solo travellers from all over the place. Round the corner from a whole street of awesome cheap tapas places. Good hostel to meet other people.

Pretty sure this is one if the best hostels in central London, though not really a party hostel - but a great place to stay, and could not be better located to see shoreditch

Great hostel that literally couldn't be in a better location for Shoreditch - right at Kingsland Road crossroads! Few minutes walk to Liverpool Street, Old street, and Shoreditch High Street overground. Good breakfast of croissants and Brick Lane Bagels, clean dorms with good lockable baskets under the beds. Bar serves tasty beer, with discount if you're staying - though there's a million places in shoreditch, so explore as well!

Quite simply the best hostel that I've ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Everything is there, the staff are amazing, it's super easy to meet people if you're travelling alone, and trips, outings and pub crawls help you see everything. Everything that the solo traveler would ever need, right there, and done really very well. Fun bar upstairs with cheap beer, beer pong, and stuff going on. Good breakfast and BBQ/pasta nights.

It's an alright place, I stay there if I'm working sometimes. Not really a party hostel, but you can usually meet some people in the dining room too. The shower room's a bit odd, a swimming pool style changing room and then just a hook by each shower cubicle for a towel. Toast and crereal breakfast's not bad, does the job, if you want any more you're not going to get it for ten quid a night! There's a Pret and a Tesco round the corner by the station if you want anything more...

The world's thinnest but full height lockers! Other than that, great place, dirt cheap for a really convenient location.

Nice hostel right in the middle of the palace in Split. Note to go to Charlie's bar, not the reception across the street with the big 'HOSTEL' sign! Lovely air conditioned, clean rooms with good lockers. Charlie's bar is cool, easy to meet other people, and cheap prices etc. Good information and maps from the staff.

Grandio Party Hostel

This hostel is a dump, but you really won't care. Had so much fun at Grandio, the staff are insane and every night organise everyone to go to a huge party - fancy a rave at a theme park or in the mineral baths? Awesome for the solo traveller who wants to meet people and have fun - but you will still have time to go out and see the sights. When you enter, you get into the courtyard bar which is like a jungle. Not quite as loud as they make out, not clean at all, but you'll have a great time

Nice clean hostel with great security (power sockets in secure lockers in reception!). Felt a little bit quieter than some other hostels so maybe not the best for solo travellers, though a nice sociable kitchen and bar area. Close to local shops and the metro. Made for a great quiet night's stay between prague and budapest.

Wow... possibly the best hostel ever. Such a great atmosphere, amazing staff, free beer token and a lovely bar downstairs, nice big garden with lots of chairs, and very easy to make friends. Great 'unconventional' tour around some of the less touristy parts of the town from Richard. Nice that it's slightly out of town. A game of ring of fire (King's Cup) with 4 of us grew to about 25 drinking the bar dry! If you like nightclubs, Cross Club just around the corner is an.... experience! Bizarre.

Absolutely amazing hostel, atmosphere, location, everything was perfect. They even kept insisting on giving me free wine! :D Thanks to all the amazing, friendly and relaxed staff who have really made an incredible hotel for a great weekend away. Great aperitivo, great atmosphere in the bar in the evenings (with loads of locals!), live band on thursday night, free beer the minute that I arrived (so needed after a ryanair flight!) - all in all, an absolutely amazing hostel.
