We stayed for three nights at Hostal Nilo the weekend just been. It is in a fantastic location, right at the bottom of Las Ramblas and close to the port. There is someone on the desk 24 hours a day which is really helpful. The facilities are fine but basic but if you aren't spending much time there it's perfect.

A lovely, quiet and clean place to stay. The hostel is nice and bright on the inside and the rooms and toilets very clean. The breakfasts were great. My partner and I stayed in a double room and my only complaint would be that the mattress was quite uncomfortable. However wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Riga.
Stayed here for one night in a double room. It was reasonably quiet considering it is on a street with lots of restaurants and bars. It was clean and had lockers to rent. There was only one toilet and bathroom on the floor but this didn't actually seem to be a problem and the radiator in our room was on all day which made the room overly warm for April. Otherwise great location, breakfast included and friendly staff.
We stayed in a double room in a house just down the road from the reception. The bed was comfortable, the room was cosy and the house was very quiet - which is what we wanted. Apart from check-in and check-out we didn't see any of the staff. My only comment would be that the shower was lukewarm and as it was quite cold in Edinburgh it would've been nice to have a little but more hot water. I would definitely stay here again.
This hostel was very quiet. We stayed in a double room with ensuite. The room was very small and had a musky smell about it but had everything we needed and clean towels. It is a bit of a walk from most of the attractions - about 15-20 minutes to most places. Kitchen had most things and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great value for money.
This is a hotel, not a hostel. It is very old and the room we stayed in was in need of some work. However, it was nice and quiet, the ensuite was adequate and it is easy to get to transport links and attractions. I wouldn't stay here for more than two nights.
The best thing about this hostel was the decor. It is really comfortable and colourful. It was a nice place to stay but the rooms are quite small and there isn't a lot of space in the bathrooms. It was very clean - so much so, on the first day my partner was asked not to use the toilet because it had just been cleaned. The kitchen is well equipped and the breakfasts were simple but adequate. Staff were really nice and very helpful.
I loved this hostel. We stayed in a double room with ensuite. The room was nice and big and the ensuite adequate. Lagos is small so easy to get around. The breakfasts were more than adequate - you get a lot of food, however the coffee is not great. I would definitely stay here again, it provided us with everything we needed at a great price.
This hostel is spacious, clean, comfortable and has great facilities. The rooms are quite small and because of the interior windows, you can hear people moving around in the night and sometimes the corridor lights are annoying. The rooms don't have locks on them but everyone has a locker for valuables. It is close to the bus station but a bit of a walk to the centre of Seville. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
This place suited for one night as it was very close to the bus terminal. The double room was nice and big but it was very cold and there was only a sheet on the bed. The bathroom facilities were lacking and as we had to check out and there were only two bathrooms (each with a shower and toilet) it was difficult to get it when it was available - one shower had no lock either. It is very small with no real common area but was fine for just one night.
I really liked staying in this hostel. The staff were great, the facilities were very clean and the whole place is incredibly spacious. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm and it was twice the size of any dorm I've ever stayed in. The location for us was perfect but it is quite far from the centre of the city, however, the s-bahn is a short walk from the hostel which takes you in. I would not hesitate staying here again or recommending to anyone else.
This hostel is above a bar and is quite a party friendly place. The owner gives everyone a welcome shot in the bar below and he is very helpful and gives you all the info on things to do in Bled. There isn't a proper kitchen, but there is a microwave and kettle was well as plates/bowls/etc. There were a lot of mosquitoes in our room the first night but we were moved the second night and it was fine. Very noisy at night because of the bar but best to just join in rather than try to sleep!
This place is amazing. We stayed here for one night for my birthday and the cell we stayed in was great. It was a real novelty to do something a bit different. Not only that but the hostel is very clean, the staff were very friendly, there is always a lot going on there and it was secure and comfortable. If you are looking for something a bit different and for somewhere lively and busy this is the perfect place.
This hostel is very comfortable, safe, secure and the facilities are excellent. It is about a 15 minute walk to the main area of Maribor but that wasn't really a big problem. The rooms are very large and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We had a few issues with the wifi dropping in and out but nothing too serious. It was extremely quiet and we hardly saw any other people but I would definitely stay here again.
Dragondoss was a great hostel to stay in for two nights. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, there is a quiet balcony out the back and a huge common area with tv in the front. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There is a microwave and kettle but no other kitchen facilities. In one of the showers you tended to end up with water all of the floors. Otherwise very clean, comfortable and a great location.
On our arrival at Lero we were taken down the road to another property. This property was quite spacious with a large common area, adequate kitchen and two bathrooms. After arrival another man showed up and asked how we got inside and how long we were staying. He didn't recognise Hostel Lero but didn't seem to mind us being there. It was strange. Not very close to the old town but fine for just the one night stay.
This place is absolutely lovely! We stayed in a basic double room which was perfect for what we wanted. We had a fridge in our room and shared a bathroom and kitchen with two other double rooms. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The place is immaculate and very peaceful. It is very close to the bus and ferry terminals and everything else you would need. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to return soon.
This place was great. We stayed in a six bed dorm but only had two others in there during our stay. There were three shared bathrooms available and it was never an issue having to wait for one. The hostel doesn't allow you to bring in your own food/drinks but the bar/cafe area they have set up sells very reasonably priced food with plenty of room to sit and listen to the radio. THe staff were very friendly and the hostel is easy to find despite being away from the city center.
The location was great - extremely close to the Duomo and the staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we were sat down with a map and shown all the places we should visit which was really helpful. Two of us were staying in a 7 bed mixed dorm which had to share one bathroom with another room so it was difficult in the mornings to get in there to use the toilet or have a shower. Also, on the last night a trundler bed was set up so it became an 8 bed dorm.
This place is really lovely and amazingly clean. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and made a huge effort with all of their guests. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I go back to Cardiff.
