Wonderful place to stay. Super helpful staff and great recommendations for local activities that are less touristy and out of the French Quarter. Breakfast is good with pancakes, waffles, chocolate chips, nutella and jam. Easy to buy groceries at Walmart and cook in the kitchen or BBQ to save $$ while travelling. But there are also great restos along Magazine street. Room was clean, never had to wait longer than 5min for a shower, and a lovely backyard patio to chill in.
The room was very cramped, not enough room for bags, and our window was permanently open, which let in a lot of bugs. The location was great though.
The grounds the hostel is on are amazing, though probably would have been better if the weather was nice. Great price, good breakfast, no complaints.

Some of the staff were really nice, some of the staff were useless. The cleaning staff accidentally mistook our towels with the hotel towels, and we couldn't recover them. The door to the bathroom did not fully close or lock. Otherwise, it was clean and decent. Nice location, close to shops and cafes.
