The hostel is very small, not much common areas at all. The breakfast was not that good. It was close to a metro. The girl on reception was great.

This was such a nice hostel. They have just redone the rooms, and they were so nice. The staff are lovely and the best breakfast we have had in South America! They also have a pool. Just don't use the shuttle service to the bus station, get a taxi for R$15 not their R$20. But recommend this hostel!

Such a nice hostel! The owner and his family are so nice and welcoming. They help you in any way they can. A easy walk from the bus station. A relaxed and small hostel! Recommend it.

Excellent location, right on the beach. A great vibe with cool staff. However small kitchen if you wanted to cook your own food. But a great place to stay!

This hostel has a good location and friendly staff. However the worst triple bunks in a small room. More a local hostel.

Overall we liked our stay at Mate, they have a pool table, movies, and a great BBQ night with John. The hostel rooms are basic, but that is what you pay for. We did have a small run-in with the lady on reception, mostly because we didn't speak Spanish. However that did not change our view of this hostel as we really enjoyed our stay, and we would recommend it.

Loved staying at this new hostel! One of the best hostels so far in South America. Very chilled out and Inti (owner of hostel) makes you feel like one of the family, also an amazing cook. Best place to stay also after doing Death Road!

A very quiet hostel. No common areas apart from the rooftop , which was nice. The TV in the reception is used by there family. However we did have a TV in our room so that was not a problem. The only problem was it says there is the use of a guest kitchen. They told us we weren't allowed. Aside from this, great value for money, the lady is lovely, a good spot to stay just for a night.

Great place to stay when in Huccachina. The sand boarding and buggy was amazing. The security is not as good but I never saw anyone in the room that wasn't meant to be there. The food was amazing. The place to stay.
