Good place to spend the night in the centre of Stockholm. Just 5-10 minutes walk from the Central Station. Spacious, clean, with good bathroom facilities. Price level is still "Scandinavian", but still it's one of the best acommodation deals in the capital. NOTE: You can leave the luggage in the deposit room before check in/after check out, but be aware that reception hours are till 18:00, so you have to collect your belongings by then.
It was generally ok, but my sleep (I had a single room) was interrupted by the group of noisy men coming back from the stag night (I suppose). Staff should deal with that kind of behaviour, but there were no actions made. However, despite that, the place is a really good place to spend the night in Poznan. Close to city centre, with the shopping mall next to, it's a really good point to start Poznan exploration.
Although cleanliness and room equipment is not astonishing, if you want to spend a night in a lively heart of Cracow, then Krakow Backpackers Hotel is a great pick. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the location is just fantastic.
Great location with easy access to important city-sights, restaurants and pubs. Staff was very friendly. Maybe it's not the most posh place, but still worth to pop in for couple of nights. They're organizing pub crawls and a lot of events so there's also an opportunity to meet some people.
There's no elevator so if you have huge luggage you have to lift it by yourself. But it's an only disadvantage. Location is very good, just around 3-5 minutes walk from Asusksabashi Station where you can pop in to the famous Sobu Line :) Staff is very helpful and you can also have an unique opportunity to sleep in the cabin bed.
The location is very good, just 10 minutes walk to Nishiki Market, around 20 minutes to Gion. Rooms - even though some could find them small (i.e. 10bed dorm) - are very cosy so you're still have a privacy. Like every place in Japan I've stayed - it's very clean and had a lot of facilities.
Only 10 minutes from the Station and around 30minutes walk from the A-Bomb Dome. There are supermarkets and restaurants near the place. The staff is very helpful and hostel is extremely clean. Strongly recommend if you're in Hiroshima.
Even though the surroundings weren't that nice (it's near train stations), it's a good place for stay. Staff was very helpful. I took a single room, quite cosy, not a fancy one, but the deal was good (payed around 23$ for the night). There's a subway station just next to the hotel, where you can take a train for Osaka station and Shin-Osaka (around 20 minutes). In 10 min walking distance, you'll get to a huge shopping mall (next to the tall buidling) and street with great street restaurants.
It's around 25 minutes walk from the Altmarkt but very close to the Hauptbahnhof. Our room (4 bed mixed dorm) was very spacious and clean, with separate bathroom and toillet. Have to say it was one of the most 'posh' hostel rooms I've ever been. Skybar serves quite big diversity of drinks, the view is really nice (however, they're not accepting paying cards). Generally A&O is a very nice place to spend a night or two, for a very fair price.
Have spent there only one night. The location is excellent, just couple of minutes walk from the Bayswater and Queensway tube station. There's plenty of pubs and gastronomic spots around. Maybe not very much facilities inside and also there's a quite messy (however rooms are ok), but generally it's worth its price.
Like I've written before. Great stuff, nice rooms, a lot of facilities (breakfast and delicious dinner)! Top hostel in Porto!
Four star hotel room for 51€ (17€ per person)? That's the deal (especially when you compare it to prices in Poland). The biggest disadvantage was, that it was quite far from the city centre and maybe there could be breakfast included. But generally it was a very good pick. It turns that we really need a rest as it was the middle of our trip, so that place (quiet and elegant) was just the best choice!
We've been there only for one day so we have only short impression. However on the reception nobody knew English and it was a little bit annoying. But all at all we've manager to communicate. There are no keys to the room, but there are lockers instead. The biggest plus for it, is an excellent location with a gorgeous view on the Cathedral and a fantastic garden where you can spend a time chatting, eating or listening to guitar play.
Maybe it's a little bit far from the centre, but generally it's a very good choice. It's very modern, safe, clean. The Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, recommended a lot of places for us. So it was for sure worthy to spend a night there.
Realy friendly stuff, good quality of rooms, a lot of facilities. Located in the very good location (it's only around 20minutes walk to the river). Worth of any recommendation!
Ljulbjana is a lovely place with quite few good hostels. We've picked Confidenti which was a good choice. Maybe there are not so many facilities, but cosy kitchen and terrace helped to meet interesting people. It's about 7-10 minutes by walk from the historical centre (and around 5 minutes to the canal street with restaurants and pubs) so the location is really good (although Ljubljana is one of the smalles capitals in Europe). I can surely recommend this one.
The only disadvantage is location nearby train station which sometimes could be pain. However the facilities of the place are great. The rooms are wide and clean. It's only 15 minutes by walk from the town centre which is also a great plus.
Although hostels in NYC are quite expensive when you compare the prices to other American cities, this one is a real deal. Great atmosphere, friendly stuff, good location (just one block from the 103rd subway station), many facilities inside (screening room, canteen, lobby and fun zone). In the evening they're organising pub/club crawls which are the best way to meet people all around the world. I was travelling alone and meet there a lot of people. Great place, worth of any recommendation!
