The first 'typical' hostel i stumbled across in India, and a pleasant stumble it was. Extremely relaxed and comfortable. A great place for your typical backpacker

Hi Daniel! Thank you for the review and rating that you've given us. At Zostel, we hope to provide the same facilities that you would find at an international hostel along with that Indian flavour. So we're glad to know you enjoyed your stay with us. If you have any suggestions related to rooms, staff, facilities, anything really, do drop us a line, and we'll make the Zostel experience better! Hope to have you stay with us again at Jodhpur and Udaipur Zostels! Cheers! Zostel

I adored this place! I wish i'd stayed longer. There isn't a bad word to say. The family were impeccable hosts, the room comfortable, and the rooftop view (a must-catch for sunrise!) quite superb! Also, with it being a 5 minute walk away from the main 'strip', it creates the wonderful illusion of seclusion in a bustling neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay. The hostess is super friendly and helpful. The room stays cool even without air-con (which you can pay extra to use) and the shared balcony provides good outdoor space. The location is good - mins from a lively strip of restaurants and bars, 5 minutes from 2 large, good beaches and right next to the bustop. A number 6 bus (very regular) will take you to the old town in just 5-10 minutes though if you want to walk it (worth it once) you can get there within the hour
