Really friendly, helpful and thorough staff, a great breakfast and hostel is kept as clean as it could be. Not much to do in Copacabana itself except go to the beach, I would probably stay closer to Lapa next time. 9 bed room is more spacious then the 6. Also EL MISTI ILHA GRANDE is pretty gross - really old, barely working wifi and for most of my stay there was no running water. would be improved a lot with new mattresses and pillows. excellent breakfast though.

Hostel is super old and quite dirty, pool is not cleaned well, air conditioning is on but you wouldn't really know it - doesn't work very well. The staff appear as though they'd rather be anywhere else then at work. The hostel is right across from the bus station though and it does have a good breakfast which includes fruit.

Great hostel!! Really good breakfast with eggs. I was in an 8 bed dorm that had a balcony, consistent air-conditioning, all beds are made each day and each bed has a shelf, lamp and power outlet next to it. Eugenia at the front desk was really helpful as well. Bathrooms could really use fans though and could be cleaned more often. Overall though this place was really good.

Good place to just stay for a night if you need to be central to amenities in Stgo. Hostel itself could use some love, isn't the cleanest and doesn't really have any atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful, towels available for free, but not somewhere to stay for a long time. Upstairs terrace should really be redecorated with some of that furniture gotten rid of - would be a great bar/hang out area.

Very cute place and building right on the shore but that novelty is the best past. Staff weren't very helpful about buses, activities etc and had very little information or knowledge on hand at reception. Iit is more of a hotel vibe not a hostel, despite having dorms.

Best showers in Chile. Nice hostel, really good beds. Great breakfast with cooked eggs and the hostel had a lot of information about buses, activities, etc etc. Definitely go to Dalcahue for a day, a Sunday if possible, because the markets were great.

Cute hostel and building that has a lot of potential but could do with some redecorating or reorganising.... needs some love. Upstairs area could easily have a couple chairs or beanbags for somewhere else to chill out. Downstairs is kind of haphazard. Kitchen is really nice and it is in a great location.

Feels like a hotel! Super clean, the comfiest bed i've slept on in a long time. 5min walk to awesome bellas artes neighbourhood. My backpack was unfortunately stolen at a cafe after i checked out. I went back to the hostel where the staff were extremely kind and supportive, thanks guys!!

Great hostal!! Right across the road from the bus terminal, only a 10-15min walk to the main street Avenida San Martin, and close to many buses and taxis. For dinner/drinks go to Avenida Villanueva Aristides. Staff were extremely helpful when we were trying to figure out activities. Go to the hot springs and wineries by yourself - very easy to get the bus yourself instead of paying for tours. Hostel extremely clean, very secure. Pastries and coffee for breakfast.

15-20min walk to main plaza but still close to a couple shops and a very handy fruit and vegetable market. Best to just get a taxi from bus station because the address doesn't show up properly on maps. Great outdoor area for relaxing.

Great hostel that I warmed to over my stay. Met some awesome people and there are two GORGEOUS dogs. Staff are lovely (FYI they speak very limited English). Wifi is good. I definitely recommend a 4 bed dorm or private as the 10bed is cramped. Area is safe so long as you keep an eye out and don't go walking alone at night. 24hr reception was great.

Great staff that were extremely informative about places to go. Great location right opposite the tram. Horrible WIFI - constantly cuts in and out and sometimes not working at all.

Fantastic location right across the river from Temple Bar and loved free wifi everywhere in the hostel. The staff seemed kind of overworked and bored. Breakfast is included but it wasn't great - I took my own fruit and yoghurt to have with it as well. There are lots of common areas but they are all in different sections of the building, making is less easy to meet people.
