Quechuas was a good place to stay in a handy location and very clean. It felt more like a hotel than a backpacker's. If I could change anything, it'd be the dustiness of the woollen blankets used in the bedding (though this seems to be a common thing in these dry, high altitude places, no matter where you stay?) and the wifi could be a little stronger

Close to lots of bars and restaurants. Very friendly staff.
Fantastic location and comfortable bunk beds. My only suggestions for this hostel was the breakfast and wifi were too expensive (so we didn't try the breakfast), and the dorm rooms were very stuffy and could use some better ventilation (half the windows in our 10 bed dorm were locked shut, which didn't help). Staff and security were very good.
Nice English pub atmosphere. Hostel was in a good location, close to two tube lines.
A lovely BnB in a nice quiet Copenhagen suburb. The train takes about 30 mins to reach the centre of Copenhagen, but there's a small supermarket 5 minutes walk down the street and lots of bigger supermarkets a 30 min walk away in the main shopping strip. The hosts are very nice and there is a small kitchenette so you can cook up a few meals on the stove top to save eating out every night. We really enjoyed our stay at Acacia House.
This hostel was the dirtiest hostel we stayed in after a year of travel. A lot of black mould in the shower, dirty dishes stacked high on every kitchen surface making the kitchen unusable, with people's washing drying on the kitchen heaters. Someone's underwear was hanging off the bathroom doorknob. The staff also took over a large part of the lounge area for a loud party that didn't include guests and guests were left with little room to relax or eat dinner. The location was good though.
Great location, staff were friendly. Dorm rooms were fine, but were quite hot and stuffy in the summer. Other than that, everything was great. Oh, there is a generous breakfast available in the morning too.
Hotel was in a great location right near two major train stations in the north of Paris. The staff were excellent - very helpful and there is a 24hr reception, so there is good security. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all the things you may need such as hair dryer, closet space and small desk. I would rate this as excellent value and comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Not the best value for money considering there is no staff on hand and the free breakfast consisted of stale bread and 6 year old jam. But, it's a good location in Windermere and the beds were reasonably comfortable.
Comfortable sturdy bunk beds in a quiet dorm room meant we had a great night's sleep. Hostel was clean and staff were helpful, the location meant it was a bit of a walk into the centre of town, but only about 20 mins, so not too bad. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
We didn't actually end up staying here in the end, due to a lack of signage in the area where the hotel was supposed to be located, we couldn't find it. Please put some signage up!!!
Large city hostel in a great location. Staff very helpful.
Cute hostel with nice atmosphere and character. Staff were not present when we tried to check in, so we had to call from a pay phone down the road, which was a bit inconvenient. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay here. Thanks.
Great value city backpacker in a central location. Very clean rooms and bathrooms.
More like staying at a cheerful B&B, rather than a backpackers. A breath of fresh air compared with the fast pace of the big citys and great to recharge the battery's, do your laundry and go for a nice walk in the forest or along the beach. If you have not got your own transport you have to take the local bus (which does not run every day), or just take a taxi, which would end up cheaper if there is more than two of you. The kitchen is great, so stock up in Gorey first.
Good city hostel, close to the Swiss Cortage Tube station. The larger 18 bed dorm room had more space than the smaller 12 bed dorm, which was a bit cramped. Bathrooms were very clean.
The sink area was not very clean, the building had a musty smell, but worst of all was the smell of dust and cigarette smoke embedded within the tatami mats in the room. I had trouble sleeping because the smell was so bad, it made me sneeze and my eyes itch all night long. Apart from this, the staff were nice enough, and the location was ok.
Good city hostel in a convenient location, handy for visiting the Peace Park.

Good Tokyo hostel with a good communal space downstairs and clean showers.
