Good location, great to have facilities such as clean kitchen and decent bathrooms as well as coffee and bar and food available if you don't want to go out. Lots of room options and rooms felt more spacious than many hostels, could even sit up when on lower bunk, without banging your head on bunk above! Main problem was no wifi in the rooms so lots of people in communal area to use wifi. Otherwise I would definitely use YHA again.
Dear guest, Thanks for this lovely review, we will soon have wifi in the rooms too! We do hope to see you again here at YHA! Regards Amanda YHA Team Member

staff not overly friendly but the place was really good, the rooms nicely spaced out so wasn't too noisy, heaps of facilities and great location. Lots of info on surrounding areas. The room was bigger than I thought and well supplied. I would def stay again and recommend it, only down side was some of the other guests were rude and immature and don't look out for other people's stuff- but that could happen anywhere.

Brilliant little place, cosy, neat, clean, very friendly. Nothing like big industrial party hostels. Felt much more like a bed and breakfast, esp with a TV and tea and coffee in the room. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

I love this place, it's pretty, clean, quiet, friendly, nice atmosphere, good books around the place and nice little self catering kitchen. I stayed in a quiet part of the house-my room did not have great wifi signal and some of the elec sockets weren't working but otherwise fine. The location is not very central but a short walk to town and I feel it is quieter and safer than some more central options. This is my 2nd time staying here and would recommend the place to travellers of any age.

Only point to note is that the outside room near the patio was not sound proof and at night time people talking in this area could be heard well into the night. On my final night 2 people decided to get rather amorous lots of audible panting and noises, luckily not taking it all the way..........perhaps this behaviour should be discouraged in a hostel when people are trying to sleep.

Fine. No issues with the place. Staff were a bit curt at times but did well coping with the large numbers of people coming and going all the time.

Lovely place, very friendly, great location to centre of town but also felt very quiet and secure. Everything I could want under one roof and a wonderful hostess.
