It's called a b/b BUT, unless you order your breakfast,24hrs before no breakfast. In our case we stopped four nights,we ordered breakfast, but for some reason no breakfast for the third day.The breakfast we had was good, but the 3rd one could not be arranged.Three bits of toast coffee, omelet, plate of fruit,a glass of fresh fruit juice.Good value for four U.S. Dollars

Due to our flight being delayed we missed our first nights booked accommodation. The staff generously did not charge us.We were most impressed. The Hostel was in a great location in a very quiet, foot traffic only street. Restaurants a plenty and reasonable. Would certainly stay here again.

What a delightful place---flowers everywhere.!!!! Very welcoming and homely. Our previous accommodation was in a 5 star Hotel in Urumchi----no comparison to this friendly ,helpful, clean and well run Hostel. Fantastic shower--always hot water and the room serviced each day. The location--especially at night time -- compensated for the distance from main attractions---but taxis are cheap--so it was not a problem. Should we revisit Beijing and I hope we do-Peking Youth Hostel, here we come.
