Really nice place with good atmosphere. They have a nice bar area and the vibe is good. The bar area can be loud at night but the noise stays there and doesn't enter the rooms. Good price and friendly staff.
This hostel is big and old. The atmosphere is ok but the building needs work and the bathrooms are a bit grungy. It's about a 10 minute walk north of the city center.
Decent place and facilities were clean. Nothing special but a good value and good price.
Nice basic hotel for a good price. Location is 3 minutes walking from the train station which is convenient. Only a 10-15 walk to the historic city center.
This is a really nice hostel. I appreciated the A/C in the hot Madrid summer. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. It could have used a few more outlets in the room.
This is a basic hostel with no frills. It's the cheapest place in town for a reason so you shouldn't expect much. The atmosphere is ok but they are lacking some important features like lockers in the bedrooms. There is wifi in the main room but it's super annoying and requires reconnection all the time. The place could be nice if they would clean a bit but it's really cluttered. The breakfast is actually good but you pay 2.50 euro. If you want a nice place stay somewhere else.

This place is strange and not at all like a typical hostel. It's in an old industrial building and has it's own complex with bar, restaurant, lounge etc. The decor is antique and unique. It's definitely a party hostel if you like that kind of thing. I would recommend for a night or two though I wouldn't want to stay much longer. There is sort of a kitchen but with no fridge or dishes so whats the point.

This is nice hostel and I didn't mind staying for 7 days. It's not the best place I've ever stayed and they are missing a few minors things (e.g. plugs are hard to find, kitchen is small and has no stove, staff is rarely there, etc.) but I still enjoyed my time. The location is good and just outside of central station and old town.
This is a dorm and not a hostel, so don't expect a hostel atmosphere. The room is very functional and has everything you need. In room wifi is fantastic and you have plenty of space to yourself. The location is usually 15-25 minutes walking distance from most of the places you want to be, but the bus makes everything easily accessible. The staff were very nice and it was nice to have our own kitchen in our room
This was a great hostel, with helpful and passionate staff and a great vibe. The owners are a young group of British guys and they are eager to show you a good time and help however they can. The hostel has a social atmosphere but it's a party hostel. It's the perfect size to have enough people to meet but too big that you feel insignificant. Facilities are great and the rooftop hang out area is cool if they are having a BBQI highly recommend this place and wish the guys luck!
This is a nice hostal (not hostel) and is basically like a 3-star hotel. The courtyard area is very nice and the rooms are decent and comfortable. The location is decent and you can walk to most everything you want.
Decent place. Staff was very kind and helpful. Good breakfast in the morning.
Great place and awesome free wine every night. I probably drank 3-4 glasses for free each day. The owner is really nice and very outgoing. Very social hostel but not too crazy. Breakfast is amazing. Best hostel in Mendoza!
Nice place. Good social atmosphere but not a crazy party hostel. Breakfast is decent and staff is nice.
Decent place. Breakfast is pretty good. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner but not the worst I've seen. I'd stay here again but wouldn't go out of my way to do it. Location is pretty good and walking distance to nice areas.
Nice owners but I didn't care for this hostel much. It's basically a house where the owners rent out the spare rooms. It feels more like their house instead of a communal hostel. The atmosphere is social but it's hard to tell who are the guests and who are the invited friends of the owners. Adding lockers would be nice. This place is 5 minute walk to the beach but about 15 minute walk to downtown. It's a bit more expensive than I think it's worth but it is a decent place if you have no options.
This is more of a hotel than hostel. The staff is nice and the breakfast is good. I didn't really care for Puno and this place didn't do anything to make it much better. The bathrooms are at least clean and wifi is in-room and strong. The price is cheap so that is a place. There is no social atmosphere here since it's basically a 2 star hotel. Beds weren't very comfortable.
Decent place but a 10-15 walk from the historic center. this was the cheapest place so it's not fancy. The owner is nice but there isn't much social atmosphere or amenities. If you want a cheap, decent place then this is ok but maybe check out some better places in a nicer area if you want to be close to the action in Cusco.
Decent place. Not the best, not the worst. This place is cheap but also a 10-15 minute walk to anything of interest. Owner is nice. Beds aren't too comfortable and there aren't enough bathroom facilities.
Nice, clean place in Kyoto. Very conveniently located.
I really enjoyed this hostel. It is in the Asakusa region of Tokyo so it is about 20 min train ride from central Tokyo. The area is still great and there are plenty of things to see and do . The price was much lower here than others but the facilities are still nice. I really felt at home at this hostel. The community was nice and the staff were great.
I really enjoyed this place. It had a very homey feeling. The common room was very nice with living room, kitchen and free computers. Beds weren't the most comfortable but everything was nice. I would recommend this place and would stay again. It's a bit outside of the center of Tokyo but still in a nice area of Asakusa which has a lot of stuff to see. All areas of Tokyo are easily reached by metro.
Decent clean hostel in Little India. Only bad part is the A/C is shut off in the rooms during the afternoon until 7pm. We got a cheap rate online then extended our stay but they charged us a the full rate for the remaining days...not sure why but at that point I was too tired to switch to a cheaper place. There beers are cheap which is helpful since alcohol is very expensive in Singapore. Not the greatest place but not the worst either. I would probably stay again if I was in the area.
Nice place. The only part I didn't like was the lobby didn't have air conditioning. I also wish the place had a kitchen but they seem hard to find in Bangkok since eating out is so cheap. They still have a community fridge for the guests to use. I would probably stay at this place again.
Nice place in Hong Kong. The rooms were across the street from the lobby and shared facilities which was a bit inconvenient. But otherwise everything was nice. The hostel is in a great location in the city.
We arrived and were shown to a completely different hotel because they did not have space even though we had a confirmed reservation. The staff didn't even explain the situation. The next morning they told us to come to the original place since a room was ready. We waited for two hours and they still didn't have a room. We decided to leave and walk down a few hundred feet to a much nicer hotel that was cheaper.
Nice place and nice staff. The breakfast is included and delivered to your room every morning. The main problem I had was the wifi never seemed to work. I informed the reception but she did not do anything to fix it. I finally contacted the owner who attempted to fix the issue. Other than the wifi, the place was nice. The location is in a neighborhood and not really close to anything but mini buses are nearby.
Great place and good location. The staff is very helpful. They have all the basic amenities you need and are very close to public transit.
This is a great hotel and a really good value. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Decent breakfast included in the price which was nice as well.
This was an odd booking. We called for directions and got picked up which was nice but confusing. They need to make it clear on Hostelworld that the room could be located anywhere in the city and isn't a specific location. The room was decent and location was good...about 5 minute walk to Ornos beach. The description on Hostelworld says it's near the main city of Mykonos but this was not the case. But still easy to access by bus.
Worst part about this place is none of the rooms have air conditioning. Everything else is pretty good though. The rooms are very basic. It is a party hostel with lots of young people and loud music. Don't stay here if you want to sleep. If you want a party close to the beach then this is your place. Good value for the money compared to most other places in Mykonos.
Good hotel and great price. The rooms have air conditioning and a mini fridge which is great. Basic hotel but has everything you need including free breakfast which is decent. I would stay here again. The neighorhood is a bit sketchy but it really seems to be fine, especially during the day.
This hostel is nothing special but the price was ok. I only stayed for one night. It's a decent bed for a night although it is a bit challenging to find even with great directions. If you are wearing a backpack and look lost the locals will try to help you so accept their advice.
I stayed in a bungalow and really enjoyed my stay. The room was air conditioned and it had a nice small kitchen with an outdoor dining area. It's not in Venice but just a 10 minute bus ride to the island. It was well worth the money saved to stay here vs the Venice island because the room was cheap and you get a lot of amenities. The bus ride to town is not bad and only costs 1.30 Euro one way.
Decent place to stay. Just note that this is a shared hotel and not a hostel. The main difference is that there are not common shared facilities that you expect in a hostel like a common area, kitchen, laundry, etc. The breakfast was decent. Location was ok. Not right in the center but easy and quick to get everywhere you need.
Decent place. Good free breakfast. Like the reviews say, this is not a hostel but rather a hotel with shared rooms. This is a major difference because there is no common room, kitchen, or other typical hostel facilities. Overall the place was good and I would consider staying here again. If you want a cheap hotel this is your place. If you want a hostel then go somewhere else.
I've been traveling for 3 months and this place tops the list of worst places. Unhelpful and rude staff. It was horribly dirty and the bathroom was gross. Rooms are too small and there is no place for storage. Had food stolen and he place had a bad smell. The only reason I stayed was because it was during the Olympics and everything else was booked. Spend extra money and stay at a better place. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Location is good. That's about it...everything else is bad

A decent stay and not a bad hostel. It is new and needs a bit of work. The staff was nice and helpful but there is not much character here.
Good hostel in a good location. They have a decent free breakfast and a good atmosphere.
Nice hotel. Very clean and good place to stopover if you are going to or coming from Morocco. Not much to do in Algeciras but the hotel is decent for a good price. The woman at the front desk is very nice and helpful but talks way too much. Still a nice place though.
Great hostel and atmosphere. The staff really likes to get the guests involved in activities. Great social hostel but not too crazy.
Great hostel. They have many activities and really go out of their way to ensure you had a good time. The hostel has a very open and social atmosphere but it quiets down after midnight so you can sleep. Their is no air conditioning in the rooms so a couple nights were a bit warm but not too bad. I would highly recommend is hostel.
Great hostel, staff and location. Would highly recommend!
Free breakfast was very nice. Better than most hostels.
Great hostel in good location. Close enough to the park and main city but still quite. The staff is very friendly. They provide free water which is great.
Pros: Great location and good atmosphere. The terrace is very nice. Cons: random friend of staff slept in our room and stunk. He didn't even pay. There was a pesky kitten that the staff let run free and it would jump on you without warning. It was hard to tell the difference between the staff and the guests because they were not professional. Overall it is an ok place to stay but the staff needs to step it up a level in professionalism.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hostel.
