A very strange and claustrophobic atmosphere created by extremely overbearing and control obsessed owner, ludicrous amounts of rules. Completely insufficient number of toilets and showers when hostel full.

Never got to stay here as despite booking 4 days in advance through hostelworld and having a "secure" booking, on arrival the owner informed me they had not honoured my booking and had reserved me a bed instead in a hostel down the road that had space. He was not even apologetic and became quite aggressive when I questioned this. It was peak season and clearly walk-ins and people staying on do not mean he has to pay a % to Hostelworld! If he acts like this surely he should not use Hostelworld?

Lovely place to chill or prepare for a night out in beautiful Riga, short walk to the old center, great staff!

Great staff and showers, but very thin dorm walls - in your bunk you can hear everything going on in adjacent dorms and the pumping music from the on-site late bar, so not a place for anyone looking for any sleep!

Lovely place lovely vibe. The only reason I've not put 100% for secuity is that our groundfloor dorm window opened (wide) into a little courtyard of neighbours which had access to street, very easy for anyone to climb if window left fully open (which in summer most people would want). Providing basic fans in dorms would be goooood!

Not really a hostel - more lots and lots of cheap hotel rooms and dorms above a sports bar.

1 shower inside each 12 bed dorm is not enough, so there was a morning queue. The advice given by the owners to shower at unusual times to avoid busy periods is all well and good - but they also have a very early (the ealiest of anywhere I stayed in Europe) 10am check-out time - so its not very practical. When I pointed this out I got shouted at by the american owner which was not pleasant and unprofessional. The american receptionist did not seem to know anything about the town or area at all.

Your rude attitude, and constant interruptions during our morning training shift was not appreciated by your fellow dorm mates or the new staff member who was learning the ropes. Of course she doesn\\\'t know everything yet, as she\\\'s just started. Professionalism is required and deserved by guests who act in kind. 12 people to one shower? There is one shower in each six bedded dorm room and it only requires people to communicate who needs to go first, etc.

A very friendly relaxed hostel, sociable but chilled. Felicia will make you feel like you are in a home from home and can tell you everything you need to know about visiting Bucharest. A lovely hostel and people, miss them already!

A lovely place to stay, surprisingly peaceful for it's location close to everything around Boracay beach. Fairly simple accomodation and perhaps slightly pricey for what you get, but that's Boracay for you. Exceptionally hospitable, friendly and helpful owners. The beach hut style cabins/rooms with hammocks are the most attractive option. I'd definitely happily stay there again.
