Nice hostel, very close to the old city and the main train and bus station. Rooms were clean, towels were provided.

Top Hostel

Zakopane, Poland

Nice hostel in the center of Zakopane. The room was nice and clean, plus we got upgraded from a 3-bed private room with shared bathroom to one with private bathroom for free. However, if you have a room with windows to the street, it can be quite loud at night because of a lot of drunken people. Better sleep with windows closed and/or bring earplugs. Kitchen facilities are available. Fridge and dishes were clean, but some pots were rather disgusting. Wifi was fine.

Ars Hostel & Bar

Krakow, Poland

Great hostel. Stayed in a 3-bed private room. Since it was designed as a 6-bed room, we had a lot of space to put our stuff. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom facilities were fine, not too crowded (however, I had the impression that the hostel was not fully booked. If more people stay on the same floor, you might have to wait a bit). Breakfast was ok, cereal and bread with jam as well as tea coffee etc. Wifi worked.

Pros: + Very good location in Nice, close to the old city, beach, city center. + Nice staff, luggage room, free breakfast, coffee all day, cheap meals und bar + nice atmosphere Cons: -At least in my room (5 bed dorm), no lockers. Safe behind the reception is available, but the staff never checks if the laptop you just took out really belongs to you - For people larger than 1,90m, the beds can get quite uncomfortable as they are not very long.
