Not bad considering it's within Venice, but was greeted by a seemingly drunk staff member who forgot how much money I gave him. We were taken to another apartment upon check in, which was fine, but it was further away. Overall, still acceptable, but very rough around the edges.
Wonderful staff members who are very friendly and accommodating. They gave us some nice tips and we were treated very well. The room was spacious and had a couch, tv, small dining table and chairs, wardrobes, mirrors and high ceilings - very nice to stay in.
A nice, new, clean hostel, with good facilities. Curtains on the beds and personal lights were a bonus. Unfortunately, it's a large one, so you are more of a number than a person. Small things could be improved, like power sockets next to each bed.
Some excellent facilities and great staff. The hostel is very small, and the common area isn't really conducive to hanging out, but I still meet great people in my room. Facilities are quite good and construction of the bunks are the best I've seen.
One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Not in the centre, but that's not a bad thing - this place was just cool, with great staff, nice guests and a very pleasant overall experience.
Not a bad hostel in a great location, but the worst part was that the air conditioner in the room was nowhere near powerful enough. Being on the top floor when it was 35 degrees C during the day made the room incredibly hot for sleeping at night. I would not recommend staying here during warm weather. Staff were ok but didn't go above or beyond.
Overall quite a reasonable hostel. No wifi in my room, although on the plus side I was given a better room than I had booked. Another downside was that my room was in a separate building that was a mission to find the first few times!
Great staff, friendly guests, a big TV with console games, flawless wifi, guitar and sing-a-long sessions - one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Lockers outside the rooms was a great idea - reduces the number of people fumbling through their lockers at night or in the early morning. One minor downside was that there were no electrical power/plug points for the top bunk beds... bring an extension cable if you want your phone up on the top bunk with you!
A reasonable hostel but only its location made it worth it. The staff were nice but generally didn't go the "extra mile". Wifi didn't always extend into the rooms if that's important to you. The lest impressive part was the partying tours/crawls - the organizers would take us to the same places because they received a cut from the bars, and the deals from the bars weren't that good.
One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Great staff, excellent facilities, fantastic breakfast and fun night time activities (how can you say no to free sangria?). The hostel is medium sized, so you won't get to know everyone, but generally the other guests were friendly and good to chat to. Highly recommended.
One of the best hostels I've stayed in.
I'm not sure if it's just a Hungarian thing, but staff didn't seem to be too friendly. They would help when requested, but didn't really go "the extra mile", unlike other Wombats hostels.
The male staff member that was on duty during my stay was very helpful and friendly.
Great hostel with friendly staff, good deals on food and drink, and a great location. Could probably do with power outlets next to each bed.
Great accommodation, especially what you get for the price. We booked a twin room and it was much better than booking in at a hostel, which would have only saved us a few euros per night. Thanks Hotel Sabina!
I had an awesome stay at this bed and breakfast. The owner, Maarten, was a fantastic host. He went above and beyond what I would expect a bed and breakfast owner to do and gave me lots of tips for navigating and staying in Rotterdam. The B&B has a nice view over the nearby canal and if the weather is good, it's a great place to sit down in a chair and enjoy the view. For only a few euros more than a hostel bed, the stay was well worth the money I paid. I thoroughly recommend this B&B!
Quite a nice hostel with good facilities and a spacious and funky common area.
A relatively quiet and clean hostel with friendly staff. Location is excellent for the old town, although a bit of walking is required to get to/from the central station (unless you want to use public transport in between). No washing machines or dryers, unfortunately. The showers were also a bit weird in that they had the "timer" type of taps which require you to push them to make them work, but the time limit was something like five seconds!
Clean, nice interior design and amenities, staff courteous. Pretty cheap for a single room. Had a front-facing room, but the window design blocked out quite a lot of noise. Recommended!
