No wifi, you have to walk to Hotel Iris for it. No lounge area to meet people. No A/C. They do let you check in late though which is nice. A bit hard to find. The outside sign literally just says "HOSTEL" but if you can find Hotel Iris, you can find the hostel. Would not stay here again.
Loved this place! It's not close to the main city of Interlaken but just ask for the free bus. It is limited though, only runs til like 8pm and make sure you buy your groceries before 6pm because the only grocery store in town closes early and isn't open for very long. But the place is absolutely beautiful! Free kayaks, really good wifi, free breakfast which is pretty good. However, no locks on rooms (not really) but it's pretty safe. Would stay here again!
Excellent hostel! Its pretty cool its in a school...for gypsies! But its a good place, good people, location isnt bad as it can easily be reached by °free° trams. No locks on doors so maybe bring a lock. Would stay there again.
Very weird place, not sure if I would call it a hostel. It's like a hotel but is also used for receptions, older people, and apartment complex. There wasn't much of a common room and not many backpackers or travelers. It's clean but a bit out of the way of all the sites and night life. I would not stay here again.
Excellent staff! The guys at the front desk were hilarious and very helpful with directions and things to so. Very clean, good atmosphere, everyone was very friendly, they have pub crawls nightly.
Good, cheap place to stay. The first night we arrived, got a really crappy room. It smelled and there was no sink in the closet size bathroom. We just talked to them the next day and asked for a better room or we were leaving and they upgraded us to a nicer room with a sink. Pool is good and the bar is convenient and cheap. They also have scooters for rent but don't pay more than 5,000 Rupiah.
