Rio Hostel

The reception staff were new and had no idea how to check us in and had to wake staff off duty to do so. they also charged us 5% on top of the cost for using forign bank cards. (this was not expected and really annoying) the atmosphere within the place seem dead and a non existant bar area seem at best deserted. The hostel however is within walking distance from the famous Lapa street where thisgs can get "interesting" The hostel did have an amazing Wifi and is very clean with spacious bathroo

The best Hostel i have stayed in the tour of he tour of Brazil. The bar man was the best cocktail maker on this planet. The boat tour guide AKA Messi was an excellent guide as well as a casanova the waterfall guide was the funniest brazilian in speedos ive ever seen. The atmosphere in the hostel was second to none and they even organised night out and made it feel like a university halls of residence....
