Convenient location and clean and comfortable although a touch institutional. Free maps and information but there were not enough city brochures in English. The common area wasn't really spacious enough for such a large hostel but it is about the cheapest hostel in Oslo and good value for the price
I've stayed here twice before for one night while in transit but this is the first time I've stayed here for a few nights as a tourist. The rooms are clean and comfortable if a bit cramped. Free tea and coffee was a bonus but water had to be boiled in a saucepan. An electric kettle would be a good thing to have. The area is lively with lots of shops, bars and restaurants and the sights are only a metro ride away - also convenient for the airport. The staff were also pleasant.
Great place to stay. Very convenient location, right next to the town but in a quiet street. Staff were brilliant and gave me lots of advice. Place has pool, a sun terrace and breakfast - cake and coffee - is included. The rooms have safeboxes and tea and coffee making facilities. In short all the comforts of a hotel but cheaper and more intimate. Only thing was door to the poolside rooms was unlocked which meant people off street could come in. But I would definitely come here again.
Stayed here one night because it was convenient to the airport. Bit small and cramped and can be hard to find but lively area and reasonably clean and comfortable
Hostel was within walking distance of many sights and staff were helpful with tourist information. The kitchenettes in the bedroom made the rooms seem grubby and overall the hostel was passably clean but not sparkling. Showers had to be hand held. There was a free computer with internet but it was slow and the common room was in an attic with a dark stairs. Garden was nice and square nearby was lively if a little rough. But overall a decent place for a short stay
Clean and well located. I did have to change rooms after the first night and check out and back in which was a bit inconvenient. The hostel could have had more tourist information and a common room
This is very clean and the breakfast was great value. Cheaper than a Starbucks coffee. The rooms were bright and comfortable but the lift was a bit tricky. There could have also been more recycling bins as it is supposed to be a green hostel.
Convenient location, clean and comfortable but maybe could have done with a bit more tourist information
Rooms were very hot and the hostel could do with air-conditioning, there was a heatwave on. Breakfast was Ok for the price but there should have been a choice of white or wholemeal bread and marmalade as well as jam. There was nowhere to hang clothes in the shower so you have to risk leaving them outside. Staff were helpful enough. All in all quite cramped but a central location and lots of information about sights
Rooms were comfortable and secure, a bit far from the Royal Mile but near the shops, free internet was a bonus. Quiet room was near the bar so it wasn't really quiet. Worst were the bathroom facilities. One sink in the female toilet for one floor is not enough. Also water in showers was no more than lukewarm
Clean, comfortable and conveniently located
Comfortable central hostel but lights were turned off at 11am. Also staff should have had notice that clocks were going froward next day

Clean, well located and modern and only a walk from the city centre. However it could have done with a lounge where people could read or watch TV. The only public space was the bar which was not quiet
Loved the cat. Room had a smell in it one night. Also had to miss breakfast one mornig as I was going on trip and had to leave before 8.30
