Hostel Beirut

Beirut, Lebanon

A home away from home! This hostel had such a great sense of community, free breakfast and wikid staff. Close to the main attractions in Beirut. One of the best hostels I've stayed in :)!

Astor Museum Inn

London, England

About 5 minutes walk to the tube. Not much in terms of atmosphere here, mainly just the staff sitting around ignoring everyone. I got in late one night (~4am) and couldn't remember the code for the door, I was berated and treated like a 5 yr old by one of the staff despite having 'no curfew'. Facilities are okay. Bathrooms are dirty but not the worst I've seen. Kitchen is okay. Lots of stairs. Lockers under the bed were broken.

Hi, Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the hostel. Indeed there's no curfew and if someone stopped you was for security reasons since you didn't type the code ; ) Safe travels, the Astor Museum Team.

Good hostel. Location is 5-10 min walk from metro. I possibly?? Got bed bugs here. Woke up one morning with bites all over me.

Flying Pig Uptown

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Overpriced for what you get but the atmosphere/some of the staff are what make it. Bit of a hike from town. If you want to get high all day with everyone else staying here then it's the place for you.

Hostel Havana

Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic

There were mice everywhere. I really can't rate the staff as they were never there. Expensive for what it is. In a cute area but a good 15 min walk to the centre. Inaccurate info about bus times to train station do ended up having to get a taxi and almost missing the train.

St Christophers Prague

Prague, Czech Republic

No kitchen. Good atmosphere. Staff were a bit rude, but for €5 a night it was amazing.

Hostel Blues

Bratislava, Slovakia

Everything you need as a backpacker. Clean kitchen, a bar and plenty of showers. The staff are amazing!

Split Guesthouse & Hostel

Split, Croatia

Josko is an amazing owner... Free vodka every night. The breakfast is amazing. Ralph is the cutest pet ever. The atmosphere here is really good- something going on every night. Josko even cooked everyone dinner one night.

Location was the best thing about this hostel.

Florence, Italy

No kitchen. Free wine every night. Great staff. Location is average- it's a fair hike from the main attractions (in comparison to other hostels)

Vertigo Vieux-Port

Marseille, France

Good hostel. Split into separate buildings though. Clean. Air-Con. Good common areas. Good breaky.

Gold Coast Donosti

San Sebastian, Spain

The staff here are the worst I've come across. I don't understand how this hostel got such a high rating- it's someone's house converted into a make-shift hostel with hardly any good facilities. One shower between about 20 people, two toilets that weren't cleaned once. No lockers and doors to dorm had no lock. The kitchen is ill-equipped. The 'common room' is used by staff to watch Spanish surfing shows on repeat. It's unbearably hot. The only good thing about it was the people I met there.

Global Village

Belfast, Northern Ireland

The staff here are fantastic most of the time. The common areas are great. The rooms are the biggest I've seen traveling. A really good hostel to meet other travelers.
