The hostel is brand new so they are still trying to figure some things out and learning how to run it. It's run by a Brazilian couple who are amazingly sweet and really do the best they can but their English isn't thr best (but you can communicate). Location in Vila Madalena is also great, and they did really well with the decorating.
The hostel is super close to Geriba which is he best beach in Buzios but it also means you have to take one of the local mini vans to get to the town (which is easy enough as they are coming in less than 2 minute rythm and cost 2 Reais), but you have to decide what you want. The hostel is super nice, good facilities, Jonas is super nice and helpful and our stay all around was great. I would recommend it!
Great hostel! In the middle of Abrao, walking distance to everything (although granted, Abrao really isn't all that big to begin with). Dorms are super clean and they even change the sheets every day. Two kitchens, and also a bar/restaurant. Breakfast a little better than standard in Brazilian hostels I'd say, the staff is super nice and friendly. Locals did say to me it's the best in Abrao, and if you want to go to the parties at the other hostels you can and still have enough quiet to sleep
One of the cheaper hostels in Amsterdam and IMO probs a decent crompromise between quality/price. I wasn't willing to pay more, but I wouldn't have been willing to stay in a worse hostel either. Common Room and kitchen are actually quite nice, rooms are rather small (but at least clean), minus points for the toilets (showers weren't the best experience either). The staff was nice though, security fine and the location really good. Disclosure: I often stay in hostels, may have different standards
