Close enough to Hammersmith Station to be convenient, but far enough to be quiet. Enjoyed my stay. Will go back and stay here if I need to be in that part of London again.
A bit noisy at night because of people jamming down in the basement (my room was on the ground floor). Otherwise fine. I liked the free Wifi and the little library + lounge downstairs.
Wish there were a kitchen. Long queues when trying to reach staff, but otherwise excellent in all other respects. Will highly recommend.
Super friendly and helpful staff -- Bruno & Fran made me feel welcome and settled. The hostel also seems to attract an amicable crowd, not the rowdy type. Location is perfect: within a 2-3 minute walk to Sol or Callao Metro stops. Very, very clean common areas. Good job guys!
Excellent location and price, and very clean. The TV system is a bit weird. In my room, there's no way to shut off Pay TV... you just have to avoid looking at the premium channels (indicated by a sign "Premiere" or "BluMovie" at the upper left or upper right of the channel) or else you pay 10.50 EUR after watching them for a total of 5 minutes. This was not stated anywhere in the brochures, and I wouldn't have known this if I didn't ask reception. Anyway, I highly recommend this hotel and I will surely book here again next time I come to Frankfurt. For a few euros more than a hostel, you get hotel quality facilities.
Excellent location. Friendly staff. Very clean facilities.
Very clean! Very quiet location.
Convenient location, good price, helpful staff.
Pillows could be better. Everything else rocks!
14 people sharing one bathroom is a bit too much. A bit of a walk from the Hauptbahnhof, though at least there's a Tram stop close by. Everything else, particularly the breakfast, was great! Will stay here again, but hopefully in a less crowded room.
Friendly staff, and friendly guests. Location is a bit of a challenge, because it's a long walk from either Valldaura or Horta stations. The doors are a bit loud to open and close, particularly in the bathrooms because you almost have to force them open and close. The placement of the Internet computers right outside the bathroom is also not ideal.
Excellent location. Only a block away from Diagonal (L3 & L5) station (not sure why the hostel description didn't say this). A block off Passieg de Gracia where sightseeing, shopping, and eating opportunities abound. The street itself where the hotel is located (Rmbla Catalunya) is cool -- the pedestrian is king/queen. The walkways are in the middle of the street and the car lanes on the sides, the exact opposite of how streets are normally designed. Breakfast was included so that was a big convenience and also a money- and time-saver.
Guy at the reception at night was not the friendliest chap on earth. And I just realized he charged me 2.50 EUR extra "booking fee" that came out of nowhere.
