Great stay here. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Great rooftop. This is a fairly quite hostel - when we were there - but its less than a block away from Chinatown and only 5 minutes from the LRT. LRT is only a 7-8 minute ride to Petronas Towers. Met some cool people.
We stayed in a large 12 person bunk, which is extremely economical. The main hostel building is really cool and build on a hill overlooking much of the city. Staff was good. Unfortunately the 12 person room smell pretty badly of mold and the showers were not at all clean when we arrived.

Room was clean. It was easy to find (because the building is kind of like Hogwarts). We had a nice stay.
They helped us out. We enjoyed our stay.
A very nice looking, large ryokan. It was pleasant and the people working were helpful. Our lights did switch off twice in a three day stay, but it only took about one minute to get them switch back on. Very beautiful building and garden.
Helpful staff, helped us in any way we asked and everyone working was extremely friendly. The town, museum and some of the parks are really excellent. I'd really recommend a stay.
This would really be an excellent place to stay in the summer; it's beautiful and tradition. It is not however a good place to stay in any cold time of the year. It was freezing the entire time were there. It made us glad to leave.
A good hostel, but its so large it feels like a hotel sometimes.
We had a great time in Tokyo at the Samurai. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a few drinks at the Khaosan bar, which is only about 3 minutes away from the hostel. Beautiful sunsets in Asakusa and about 10 minutes to the closest metro line, 15 minutes to the Ginza line.
Our second stay, only for one night. It was great.
Stayed with four people in a room, and it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly.
