This hostel was so much fun. The staff is great, especially the breakfast cooks who single handedly erased our memories of last night's Hurricanes and Jesters. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The blankets were a little thin, but this is not a 5 star hotel so I have no complaints. The atmosphere is great too - there are spontaneous jam sessions, pool, outside and inside seating and the best part - the hostel has its own cat! Location is not great though - not safe part of town

Youth Hostel Meetingpoint

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Overall a great value for your money, especially considering the very central location. The hostel is on the dirty/dingy side though. The sheets were yellow with some random stains. The carpet needed a thorough cleaning as well. But there was a cute cat and the 2.50 breakfast deal was pretty sweet.

Flying Pig Uptown

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Wifi only works downstairs. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were small and scattered on our floor, so sometimes there was a little bit of a wait. The location near the park was good, but its a bit of a hike to the central part of Amsterdam.

Brussels 2GO4 Quality Hostel

Brussels, Belgium

The hostel was very clean and had a nice room with a TV to relax. The location is great, just a 10-15 walk to the Grand Place. The only annoying part was the downstairs bathroom with only 2 showers, so sometimes you have to wait. It was a little bit expensive, but I think all the hostels in Brussels were also pricey.

Liberty Hotel Paris

Paris, France

The double room was very spacious. Great view from the window. Unfortunately you had to keep it open because the room reeked of cleaning products! Also the neighboring street is pretty sketchy! Don't take the Chareau d'Eau metro stop.

Hotel Du Commerce

Paris, France

Great value for your money isfahan you don't mind suspicious looking "bleach" stains. Location is unbeatable. Facilities are meh! Also annoying to go outside for toilet or shower!

Euro Youth Hostel

Munich, Germany

This is definetly a party hostel, so if you like peace and quiet it is not for you. I stayed in a dorm and people kept coming and going all night. The beds were very nice with curtains for the bottom bunks. I wish they added them to the top bunk as well. The breakfast was definetly worth the money. I also really liked the atmosphere at the bar at night - it was a lot of fun staying here!

PLUS Florence

Florence, Italy

Loved the pool, bar, cheap restaurant, and the roof deck!!! Location was good too because Florence is quite small! Would definitely stay there again. The only downside is everything extra costs you a lot, but that's probably how they keep their costs so low, so no complaints.

Chianti Camere

Chianti, Italy

Great place and great food! Loved our stay here!

Hostel Veronique

Florence, Italy

We stayed only for one night in a 6 bed private and the room was HUGE! Its right in the centre of Florence - a really good value for your money. Not a place to meet people because there is no common room, but if that's not a problem I definetly recommend it.

Antares Hostel

Nice, France

The hostel is located right next to the train station, which is convenient. However, the are gets rathe seedy at night to the point where we didn't want to walk on the back roads. The hostel itself looks very nice in the reception area, but when we got on our floor all the lights were off. The front desk staff first placed us in a room that didn't have 2 beds, and on our second try a French lady told us it was a female only dorm, so kind of annoying. For the money it's good because Nice is $$$!

Equity Point Centric

Barcelona, Spain

This hostel is HUGE so watch out for large groups! The location is unbeatable - you are in the ritzy part of town! The bar sells cheap beer and Sangria. The roof terrace is also really nice and you can dry your laundry there. The hostel is great for meeting people from all walks of life. We did a walking tour with Keene and Natty - we liked them both (even though they are very different). Really cool hostel if you are not afraid of how big it is.

Sevilla Inn Backpackers

Seville, Spain

We stayed in a private room for a very good price and we were placed right near the terrace :) The location is great - you are 2 min away from the Sevilla Cathedral and there are a lot of places to eat and hang out. We did a tapas cooking class with sangria and that was really fun and delicious! We were also recommended a good flamenco show. The hostel is perfect!

Way Hostel

Madrid, Spain

We absolutely loved Way Hostel. The front desk staff was very welcoming, always inviting us to events and constantly recommending good places to eat any go out too! We did a free walking tour with Harriet and it was SUPER FUN! She was very knowledgeable, upbeat and hilarious. Didn't do the pub crawl but heard from roommates that it was a good time. The only downside is that the 12 dorm would get really hot at night and sometimes toilets would be out of toilet paper. Location is great too :)))
