V-GO's Hotel & Guesthouse, Fethiye, Turkey
10.0
5th Sep 2015

Hostel was awesome, had a pool to chill out at, a bar area with free breakfast and option to buy lunch and dinner, good wifi, room with aircon. And best of all the staff were amazing and happy to help out with anything. No only slight fault is that it is a 15-20min into Fethiye but there is a bus every 5 mins for 2TL which makes up for it. Couldn't recommend this place more, the best hostel I have stayed at!

Had 24 hour check in so security was good and also helped for late flight, free breakfast included, the staff were friendly and helpful. Great place for meeting other travellers with the roof top bar and good location close to blue mosque and transport into Taksim Square, and also plenty of nearby restaurants. The bathrooms were slightly run down was the only minor fault

Calling this place a hostel is a massive stretch! The "private room" was a tent with a locking door. But the rooms were awesome compared to the wifi, it was not existent. Finally staff awards; 3rd - creepy old guy behind the bar with his pubes out. 2nd - entire team of dinner waiters, The six of them combined couldn't manage to perform as good as the one lady at breakfast. 1st - Lady at reception with short hair who was always rude and always unhelpful. Even the wifi performed better than her

Decent hostel with everything you needed. A bit of a walk to the bus station and old town but the bus connections are good. Very easy to and from the airport. The staff were ok but not amazing, seemed like it was hard work with them some of the time

The evening I was supposed to arrive I had my passport stolen at the airport. I immediately emailed the hostel advising and hopefully requesting a refund for the following night. This was not possible due to their refund policy. So I got charged the full amount without staying there, which is fine. But I'm sure they filled my bed and made money off my misfortune. So this is my way of getting some satisfaction from the money I have paid!

Great place to stay, great location and the facilities are really good. Except for the wifi, I had better wifi in remote areas in Costa Rica! There was a bad storm when I was there and there was no power, hot water of wifi for the night. Apparently this has never happened before so I think I just got unlucky.

Hello!Yes,those really exceptional days we had to survive, thank you for your understanding.Sorry for the wifi too,we are working on it continously and it already works fine for most of the guests in the common areas.Pls visit us again sometimes to see how a perfect day without storm&flood looks like in Wombats Budapest. :-)All the best

Haris was a really great guy and made our stay a lot of fun even though there weren't many people travelling at that time of year. Good facilities in the hostel and great view of the city from the balcony. Only fault of this place is the walk up the hill so as long as you are aware of that this place is definitely recommended!

Amazing hostel with a homely feel. Staff were excellent and provided plenty of advice when asked and generally up for a chat. Well equipped kitchen and nice lounge area on the rooftop. 24hr desk so security is not an issue, location was in the old town and only 5 minutes from the main square, staff were amazing and get everyone involved which lead to a great atmosphere. Was cheap and toilets/showers checked every couple of hours so always clean. Couldn't recommend this place any higher! Hostel felt like you were part of the family. Breakfast was extra but definitely worth it! Good rooms with ensuite in mine plus good kitchen and tv room. Really chilled place but still plenty of opportunity to meet other travellers. Also the tours they offer are amazing! Worth staying just for these. I did a day trip to Bosnia and it was one of the best days of my travelling! Only thing I can fault is the location but it is right next to a bus that runs regularly to the Old Town.
