Honestly one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Amazing breakfast with bagels and muffins cooked on site. Awesome properly stocked bar again with food cooked out back. Very good location right in the centre of town easy walk to everywhere. Staff were great and very helpful. Would definitely recommend checking out a hockey game while in town, hostel makes it very easy selling tickets at reception. The only place to stay when in Vancouver!

The New York Loft Hostel

Very very nice hostel in a very cool and alternative area of Brooklyn. Rooms are big and spacious, very easy to egg to from the subway. Outdoor common room area and BBQ dinner is amazing! Only minor complaints would be the breakfast while it is extensive and there was some fruit some days, it could have some healthier choices. The other would be that at around $60 or more a night it is by far the most expensive hostel I have stayed in, in North America and Europe. Would stay here again though!

Fantastic Hostel! Location of this hostel is amazing, so close to all the major attractions in Istanbul and easy walking distance from the Tram. All the Staff are amazing and made the stay very pleasant and enjoyable. Only thing i will say is need some more variety on the spreads for breakfast! Honey and Nutella would be good! Will definitely be back again!

Amazing Hotel, this has to be your base for exploring the Gallipoli Peninsula. Good atmosphere around the hotel and a large common room/bar area. Breakfast is incredible, full buffet all you can eat. I did the Gallipoli tour from the Hotel also, which i would thoroughly recommend! One thing i found a let down was that my dorm room (5 Bed) was quite small, should of had one less bed. Luckily the room wasn't full though! No lockers in rooms was the only other complaint!

Very cool cave hostel! Breakfast was amazing, tasty and plentiful! I stayed in a dorm room and found there to a couple of this that could be improved, mostly due to security. I had no issues when i was there as there was only 2 other people in my dorm my entire stay! However there was no lock on the dorm door, so anyone could walk in and out at any time. Also there are no lockers, meaning that really nothing in my room was secure at any point. Other than that, very enjoyable stay!

Artemis Yoruk Hotel

Pamukkale, Turkey

This is really a hotel, so as you would expect, facilities are very good! Breakfast was buffet all you can eat and plenty of variety. Wifi is great. Only negative was that as it is a hotel, don't expect a hostel atmosphere! Location is amazing though, right next to the Dolmus stop in town and very close to the travertines and sights. Would definitely recommend this to anyone coming through Pamukkale!

Basic yet comfortable hotel. Full buffet breakfast. Very friendly staff. Location is a little out of the way, but only really a 15-20 minute walk from the port area. I must say i did get a little lost coming from the port, an updating of the directions on HostelWorld would be great! Til then make sure you check how to get here before you land! As this is a hotel, not really a hostel or happening atmosphere. Nice and relaxed though.

Paraga Beach Hostel

Mykonos, Greece

This is most definitely more of a camp site than a hostel. Atmosphere is good and Bar/pool area is cool, however drinks and food are very overpriced. Food is not good either. No sheets provided, sleeping bags are available. Hire of sheets costs extra! No hostel shuttle to town meant relying on public buses, which are infrequent. Given the food/drink prices, facilities and location I'd look closer to town next time! If on a budget, this is a good option, looks better than paradise camping.

Amazing hostel. The owners run this place very well, nothing at all was an issue! Wanted to hire a car, one phone call and the car was delivered to the hostel within 10 mins. Laundry, no worries someone had arrived to wash my clothes within 5 minutes. Fantastic service and facilities, my dorm room had a kitchen and was very spacious and clean. If you are staying in Paros on a budget, this is your place! Location is good, bakery and restauranrs close by. Will be back again!

Francesco's

Ios, Greece
100%

Francesco's is the only place to stay in Ios. Was a bit quiet when I was there, as I was in off season, but over summer this place would crank. Has a private bar and pool area, amazing views over the port and all the staff are fantastic. They all knew me on a first name basis within the first 12 hours of being there! Great atmosphere, rooms are very comfortable and very clean. This place gets very busy over summer, so book early and get into the best place in town! Will definitely be back!

If you want character, this place certainly has it! Very cool setup in the old caves of a vineyard. However a few things let this place down. Firstly the showers, out of 6 attempts, I had 2 hot showers. Wifi is very ordinary inside the rooms, struggle to get reception. Location is quite away out of Fira, looking at a decent 30min walk to town. However there is an amazing bakery and supermarket close by. Not a lot of options for cheap accomodation in Santorini but this is a good option.

This is the only place to stay in Hania! George is an absolute legend and has everything you could possibly need at his disposal; including beach towels and mats, detailed explanations of what to do in the area and bus tickets. If you need anything just ask George. I had a private room here and was well appointed and comfortable.. Location is literally 100m from the beach and close to the hwy for exploring the island. Balos and Elafonisi beaches are a must! Will definitely be back!

One of the best hostels I have stayed in! Where do i start; The staff are all amazing, the location is very very central, the breakfast is comprehensive, the rooms are clean, the dinner is delicious and the view from the roof top bar on its own is worth every dollar of the nightly room rate. If you are visiting Athens, there is no alternative for your accommodation!

Cuba Bar & Hostel

Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic

The downstairs bar of this place is seriously cool. Its Cuban themed with a huge range rums. Upon arrival got upgraded from my 6 bed dorm to a 2 bed private which was nice! As for the facilities though, they seem a little unfinished. Appeared to me that they were in the process of doing renovations, as some furniture was new and others not. Hot water wasn't working at the shower on my level, so had to go upstairs. Not a huge deal, but still. Good location. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hostel, very clean and great bathrooms. Nicholas on reception was also was very informative and accommodating with my baggage when checking-in / out. Only negative was that it was very quiet given the time of year, however that cannot be helped. Location is perfect for exploring then town, very close to the castle and river. Would definitely stay here again!

Hostel has good facilities, probably the best equipped kitchen out of any hostel I have stayed in before and the wet room showers are amazing. Only negative really was the atmosphere at the hostel. When I stayed the hostel seemed to be full of middle aged men, some had been there for quite some time. Not exactly the clientele you normally find in a hostel, and was a little strange I must say.

Had an awesome stay at St Christopher's in Bath. Met some awesome people, really good vibe around the hostel and belushi's downstairs is a great bar with very good food. The staff really made my stay here, great bunch of peeps! Only negatives were that the showers were very temperamental. They were either hot, or cold, which isn't terribly pleasant. Breakfast was also pretty basic. Some variety in the spreads/jams etc would be good. Would definitely stay here again though when in Bath next!

Had a good stay. Some interesting points though, the 4 bed dorms have their beds VERY close together. So much so that they are actually touching! They can be pulled apart slightly, however that was interesting! Also the staff were a little cold, our initial impression of the hostel was unfortunately dampened by a rather rude guy at the front desk. A smile and friendly attitude wouldn't go astray! Besides from that, awesome location, and a good bar.

Hostel One Prague

Prague, Czech Republic

We had an awesome stay, the staff are fantastic and very friendly and helpful! Rooms are big and clean. Kitchen is well equipped and has everything that you need. The only slight downside i could think of is it is a little way out of the centre of Prague, however while a bit of a walk, it is an easy one...and their are trams to get in, so its not really an issue. Would recommend this hostel to anyone heading to Prague!

AMAZING hostel! Probably one of the best we have stayed at on our trip! The place is very new, rooms are very comfortable, clean and secure. Bar had a great atmosphere! Staff were very very helpful, friendly and fun. And the location was good, just a 15 minute walk into Vienna centre. Kitchen was probably the best of any hostel I've stayed at and the breakfast is great value for 4ish Euro. Only downside would be the pillows, they are really soft and felt as though i was sleeping on the mattress!

Hostel was clean and rooms were comfortable and secure. Staff were a little cold though, girl on reception didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Wasn't the warmest first impression! Also given the rules in Austria you can smoke in the bar, which for a non-smoker isn't the best! Kitchen needs to have some actual cutlery and plates put in it too, can't eat everything with your hands!
