For being a youth hostel there was pretty much only families with young kids staying. So the atmosphere was not quite what I expected. Regardless the location is amazing with many good hiking spots nearby. Internet was very expensive to use and no freezer in the self catering kitchen was a bit annoying. Very friendly young staff

While I was staying there another traveler had his laptop stolen, although I don't think he had it locked up even though there were lockers provided. The included breakfast was really good (it had nutella.and biscuits which was quite luxurious) and the free computers were handy

Great location! Very chill atmosphere in the common room and the dorm was very comfortable. Use of computers was a wee bit expensive, but wifi was free..I liked it so much I stayed in the sister hostel in Oxford

Smart Hyde Park Inn

The dorm was like a jail. It was also incredibly hot and humid in the dorm. The toilets and showers were poorly placed (the shower water and light turned off every twenty seconds). There were many school kids which was annoying at breakfast time as the line was long and slow moving. Very cheap though and good location
