Friendliest, coolest, most genuinely welcoming staff I have ever come across in any hostel anywhere in the world. Katy made me feel instantly at home as soon as I arrived. The downstairs lounge area has good vibes but not many people seem to hang out there or intermingle too much. Real good DJ played Saturday night. Rooms clean with the comfiest beds I've ever come across in a hostel. Only way to improve this place would be friendlier guests and to be nearer to Friedrichshain/Kreuzberg. Thanks!
This place was fine to stay in, but it doesn't deserve its high rating. It's nice and clean, it's near to Zenkoji and the staff are nice people. But it's very basic. There is only one shower for everyone to share, and one sit down toilet. The toilet is just off the common room, so it feels pretty awkward going for a morning dump when other guests are having breakfast. I paid the same price for Nui. in Tokyo, which blows this out of the water seeing as its a minor town and comparing facilities.
had horrendous, smelly, inconsiderate dorm mates but this didn't detract from the fact that it's a super cool hostel. great showers, good solid curtains around the bunks, 1m walk from kuramae metro station, cute friendly staff and like 30 secs away from two 7-elevens to negate the fact that there's no breakfast included. great value
hostel is pretty cool looking, nice pool, very clean all round and with nice high ceilinged rooms but the staff were super cliquey in a very off putting way. I´m travelling alone so that sucked. I left for loki and much prefer it here
really shabby, cold, not particularly clean, water rarely hot. seemed absolutely dead too, no fun people. three of us booked under one name but they put one of us in one dorm and the other two in another, empty dorm. cheap but wouldn´t recommend to a friend. or someone i didn´t like that much.
