Cheers Hostel

Istanbul, Turkey

Its a pretty decent Hostel; the price is quite affordable and its in the center of town, with easy links to the metro. The facilities are quite decent and the staff are friendly. Furthermore, it has a lovely roof top bar. Also, it offers breakfast, which is quite uncommon in my hosteling experience. However, if you have a lot of stuff their lockers are only able to accommodate your valuables. Overall I would stay here again

Singapore, Singapore

Overall it was reasonable for a hostel for Singapore. Great location, friendly staff, and cheep by Singapore standards. Cleanliness could have been a little better, but it was reasonable. This place definitely has a very hostelly like feel to it. But considering the prices in Singapore, this place does the trick.

H132 Hostel

Taipei, Taiwan

Great Hostel. Staff was friendly and spoke English well. The hostel was clean. Sizeable lockers were provided to keep your things secure. There is a Metro station about 150 meters away and the train station is about a 10-15 minute walk, or 1 stop on the metro away. Furthermore, they offer coin operated laundry (very valuable for those on longer trips). There are many shops out side the hotel. There is particularly a lot of Japanese restaurants near by. Overall great experience!

Pandora after 80s

Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Great location with many shops just below as well as a movie theatre, bar, and metro station. The staff is very friendly, and the bed is one of the best I've slept on in a while. As most of the other reviews say, the address is a bit misleading about the entrance, but if you follow their directions its not hard to find. The bathroom/shower was a bit small, but that's to be expected in Hong Kong. Overall great value for money in HK.

The Phoenix

Shanghai, China

Stayed in the Private En suite room, it felt like being in a hotel, with the character of a hostel. Great place, would stay here again

Great Hostel, Stayed in the 8 bedroom dorm, but its really more like a 4 bed room as its separated by two floors. The rooms are air conditioned, which is very welcome during the hot Beijing summer. The staff are very helpful and speak English well. The only downside is its a bit of a walk to the nearest metro stop and that they only have lockers that are big enough for valuables as opposed to your whole pack. But at 100 Yuan a night I would stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.
