We only stayed one night but on arrival the staff behind reception was super friendly. There are no locks of the dorm doors which is a bit strange and the lockers aren't very secure. And try to get a top bunk because the bottom doesn't give much room.

We only stayed one night but had a good time. The staff are friendly and it's in a good location between Loch Ness and the castle. Wifi worked well in common areas but not in our room which was outside the main house. Would recommend.

SoBo House Brighton

Brighton, England

Hostel seems to full of permanent residents and the atmosphere is pretty terrible because of this. The kitchen is pretty dirty, as was the laundry. Staff are not super keen to help you out and can disappear for a while and ignore you even when you are standing at reception. You have to pay for lockers and although the rooms have a number code, anyone who knows this code can go in and out as they please. Wifi was a major disappointment with us missing out of tickets!! Stay elsewhere.

Staff are somwhat helpful but not as enthusiastic as their description in hostelworld. The shower was cold with maybe 5 seconds being lukewarm and the bathroom isn't the best design (as most in Europe). Instructions to get to hostel from train station are great and the Wifi worked fine. Ok for an overnight stay.

If it's duing Ramadan just keep knocking. A little hard to find (it has a big blue door) but Air con was great and we were upgraded to a private room as it was available at no extra cost! They didn't have working wifi which meant a trip to McDonalds though when laptop was around you could use it. An easy 10-15min walk to the square.

Great three night stay and although not in the centre, it's only a few minutes by their great train transportation. The only I would say could improve would be the reception - it's takes a long time to check in especially with three lots of people in front of you. Otherwise all was fantastic!

Dear guest, normally a checkin takes 5 to 10 minutes. If you had a lot of bad luck you might have come just in the change of the shift and at the same time as a lot of other people. We try to make the checkin as short as possible, but still with a lot of information at arrival, so everybody can feel secure and welcome. Thank you for staying with us and hope to see you again soon at Yellow Nest Hostel!! Greetings, all of the Yellow Nest Team
